We ended our listening activity by describing a picture for our friends to draw. Can you find the ones that were described?

Reminder - End of the year BBQ

Les 2e have completed their trip around the world. We learned about la nourriture, les vêtements, le climat and important places in many pays différents. We documented pictures to help us remember our adventures in our travel journal and passport.✈️🌍 @StGabrielOCSB @ocsbBonjour

After learning about what life was like 200 years ago, la classe de 2/3 stepped into the past, making fresh bread and homemade butter. We cooked our bread “over a fire” and enjoyed our treat at lunch. Merci to our volunteers and staff that helped us become bakers! @StGabrielOCSB

[Amber Samaroo (O'Reilly) @MmeSamaroo]

Les élèves en 2e spent a little extra time in the Learning Commons today before it gets transformed for the @Scholastic book fair! We are very excited to explore all the new books next week! @StGabrielOCSB

💙 Today, on World Autism Awareness Day, we celebrate the incredible diversity and strengths of individuals with autism. Every person brings unique perspectives and valuable contributions to our community. Let’s continue to build an inclusive world where all voices are heard.

Merci à Mr. Gourlay and @sghottawa for sharing a little bit about your mission with the @StGabrielOCSB community today. We were inspired by your message and we’re hoping to support you in helping people across Ottawa with our Lenten campaign. 💜

Merci @uOMakermobile for visiting the grade 2’s and using our love of soccer to teach them about Scratch coding. I’m excited to see the stories they’re going to create with their new skills @StGabrielOCSB #ocsbSTEAM

[Amber Samaroo (O'Reilly) @MmeSamaroo]

Merci @leblancgr6 and Mrs. Swan’s grade 6’s for helping out grade 1’s write and pass out kind notes to others during our buddy block. #SpreadKindnessLikeConfetti #ocsbKindness @StGabrielOCSB

Cold weather and indoor recesses are the perfect time to show off our creativity! Everything becomes a tool to build @StGabrielOCSB #ocsbSTEAM

Les amis en 2e et 3e have been working on different sounds to help us read. We’ve started weekly centers so we can have more fun practicing. This week we read with Mme; built our own sentences; rolled, read and wrote; and tried Boukili. @StGabrielOCSB

On #BellLetsTalk 💙 we sometimes need reminders that it's okay if you don't feel like you can accomplish what you set out to do today.

Grade 1’s @StGabrielOCSB have their Chromebooks up and running! Look at us logging into Hapara to listen to songs, practice our numbers and draw along in French.

Also, merci to the grade 6’s that helped us practice a few times as we learned to do it independently 🙏🏻🙏🏻

[Amber Samaroo (O'Reilly) @MmeSamaroo]

Kicking off le nouvel an, les amis en 2e @StGabrielOCSB made a calendar of all the holidays and celebrations for this year. They picked their favourite celebration, created a page about it and recorded why they love it!

[Amber Samaroo (O'Reilly) @MmeSamaroo]

Ringing in le nouvel an in grade 1 with crowns, a dance party and a count down! 👑🕺🏻🪩 Bonne année! @StGabrielOCSB
