At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2nd, a member of the public called 911 after seeing a driver stumble out of their vehicle at a gas station in rural East.

The driver purchased a case of beer, got back into their car, and drove away. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver showed signs of alcohol consumption and was given a roadside screening test, resulting in a FAIL. They later blew 250mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, over 3x the legal limit!

Please consider alternate travel options this holiday season; it’s not worth your life or someone else’s.

Vers 22 h 30, le mardi 2 décembre, un membre du public a appelé le 911 après avoir vu un conducteur sortir en titubant de son véhicule dans une station-service rurale de l'Est.

Le conducteur a acheté une caisse de bière, est remonté dans sa voiture et a pris la route. Les agents ont localisé le véhicule et ont procédé à un contrôle routier.

Le conducteur présentait des signes d'alcoolémie et a été soumis à un test de dépistage routier, dont le résultat s'est révélé positif. Il a ensuite soufflé 250 mg d'alcool dans 100 ml de sang, soit plus de trois fois la limite légale !

Pensez à envisager d'autres moyens de transport pendant les fêtes de fin d'année ; cela ne vaut pas la peine de risquer votre vie ou celle d'autrui.
