Today is Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights! It symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance". Wishing you a Diwali that's as sweet as the treats, and a year as colourful and joyful as the holiday's festivities!
A big thank you to Mr. Power and her grade four class for inviting me to make diya’s out of modelling clay.
Tomorrow, we will paint our diya’s in time for our Diwali celebrations on Friday. @BishopFeild@MCEd_NLschools
