A group of comfort dogs have made their way to Apalachee High School this week in the wake of the latest mass shooting. They brought their "please pet me" vests and invited members of the community to love on them for as long as they needed. 15/10 for all

Once, I was depressed about my birthday, feeling like no one cared. We had agreed to celebrate over the weekend, but when I came home upset he made me a cake.
This man had never baked in his life - nor since.

My parents were separated when my mom had a stroke & her cancer came back. I was 9.
Without hesitation, my dad moved back in & cared for us for 3 years before she passed. Physically, emotionally, & financially.
He also let me decide every detail of the burial and funeral.

@TalLiveEasy @Not_the_Bee @POTUS PSLF is one of those benefits, so you're supporting my point. Employees can accept the jobs despite the lower pay because of the benefits, including PSLF.

I should have noted PSLF is only one part of the picture, but I hit character limits.

@Shy_Skunk71 @Not_the_Bee @POTUS I will also note that I am specifically speaking about the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, which is referred to in the original tweet. I am not trying to make a case for universal loan forgiveness.

@Shy_Skunk71 @Not_the_Bee @POTUS That's a very rough calculation and I don't claim it saves money in every single case. But hopefully that example helps show how, when it is all totaled, there are savings and benefits to the taxpayers.

@Not_the_Bee @POTUS The PSLF program SAVES taxpayers money. It recruits people who could make way more in the private sector to accept low-paying government jobs. Without it, we would have to raise salaries across the board or suffer shortages of teachers, first responders, etc.

My pup is a rescue, so I don't know his actual birthday and instead celebrate his Gotcha Day (next month).

But I guess the shelter records list today, and my Vet mentioned it at his appointment.

Meaning I took my (fur) baby to the doctor on his birthday. I'M THE WORST MOM 🤣
