My husband hugged me from behind and said "thank you so much for everything you did today." Then kissed me. My toddler then walked up, hugged me from behind and said "thank you for making me soup mama." Then kissed my arm. YOUR CHILDREN SEE EVERYTHING.
Don’t break the mother of your children.
I once heard someone say, “If you truly love your children, don’t break their mother.” And that stuck with me. She’s often their emotional anchor, their safe space, their daily strength. When you damage her mentally, emotionally, or financially, the ripple effects reach the kids too. You can’t claim to protect your children while actively tearing down the woman who holds them together.
I saw this video this morning on my feed and I think it so eloquently explains what Charlie Kirk was put on this earth to do.
“When people stop talking, that’s when you get violence, that is when civil war happens”
