Without making the matches required for federal infrastructure dollars, MN is at a competitive disadvantage and will miss out on millions of dollars for vital investments across the state. #mnleg must act to keep the state competitive and meet citizens needs #IIJA#infrastructure
When Republicans walked away from the session without passing a bonding bill, they walked away from $7.3 billion in federal infrastructure funding. If we don't pass a bonding bill, other states will get the money. Read more in my @MinnPost Op-Ed: https://t.co/FI4RoYF5TK
This is extremely disappointing. MN now at a competitive disadvantage for #IIJA discretionary grants. We are leaving millions on the table in #infrastructure $$. #mnleg must act!

LMC’s @DFLightfoot, Austin Mayor Steve King, and Minneapolis Public Works’ @MAKMinnesota joined other local gov, trade, utility, and energy groups today to call for a special session so MN can pass a bonding bill and unlock federal infrastructure funds. #MnCities#LMCleg#mnleg
Cities, counties, utilities, Labor, construction and energy organizations call on the #mnleg to come back to the table and pass federal matching dollars and a bonding bill to maximize infrastructure investment. #agcmn
It makes common sense for #mnleg to agree to a special session and pass critical and necessary #infrastructure investments and matches for federal #IIJA $$. Infrastructure investments = prosperity for Minnesotans. Minnesota needs it!
Minnesota could risk losing out on millions in federal funding provided by the $1.2 trillion infrastructure law Congress passed last year if the state legislature doesn’t act soon on the transportation budget, MnDOT warns. | https://t.co/2NiX3KlxqP

#mnleg needs to come come to an agreement on the parameters of a special session. Billions of #infrastructure dollars from #IIJA are at risk. It just makes sense!
“Minnesota is slated to receive up to $7.4 billion in Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act funding, but only if we come up with required state matches," Frank Hornstein and Jamie Long write in a commentary. https://t.co/KxReg21xnG

Read @ASCEMN report card lead's op-ed on the negative impact of no special session in MN. #mnleg#infrastructure#IIJA
MN is set to miss out on an incredible opportunity for accessing federal #infrastructure $$. The economic opportunities are there for communities, but #mnleg needs to act and agree to special session to make the state matches. It's just common sense!
Minnesota is expecting an infusion of federal cash for construction projects on a level not seen in decades. Some fear a stalemate at the Capitol could put a chunk of the dollars in jeopardy, though not all legislators say the situation is dire. https://t.co/IxXV3OzhZJ
Minnesota’s share of some federal infrastructure money could be at risk if state lawmakers don’t resolve their impasse on a major spending bill that included required state matching funds. https://t.co/C4tZHWL3LJ

Among the unfinished work by #mnleg is matching funds for #IIJA. Minnesota is potentially missing out on millions of $$ in #infrastructure funding if they don't provide a state match. A special session is needed to provide Minnesotans w/ much needed investments #stribpol
Gov. Tim Walz said he would meet today with leaders from the Minnesota House and Senate to discuss calling a special session to finish major legislative proposals left undone after the Legislature again missed the deadline for doing its work. https://t.co/uTukFBvwz9 #mnleg

Water and wastewater infrastructure projects will only become more expensive and complex over time, and with inflation continuing to increase the cost of goods, we need lawmakers to pass HF3858/SF3545 and HF4115/SF4121 now.
Additionally, wastewater systems around MN need upgrades due to age and emerging contaminants. #IIJA sent a lot of money to MN for this, but the state needs to make robust, sustainable investments to get the most for our money and save Minnesotans $$ #mnleg#infrastructure
Minnesota's wastewater and drinking water systems received a C and C-, respectively. Learn about needs and how we can raise the grade from our #2022reportcard: https://t.co/71DoP8ic0z #mnwater#infrastructure#mnleg#ASCEMN
