My deepest condolences to the family and friends of students at Utumishi Girls Academy. Growing up dormitories were closed up like we were in Kamiti prison. It is time for the education CS and his docket to relook the safety measures in our boarding schools and train our students
16 Utumishi Girls Academy students confirmed dead after 6 more deaths reported in the fire tragedy in Gilgil, Nakuru; police say 74 others admitted with injuries
Protests over high fuel prices take a different turn in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County as residents turn a section of the bus park into a running track, with touts and drivers engaging in relay races.
JKIA was a whole vibe last night as #Kenya welcomed home 4 rare Mountain Bongos from the Czech Republic! Back in the 80s, we actually donated some to zoos abroad to save them from Rinderpest. Now they are coming back!
@Kama36378Kamau@wahomethuku Sadly, you are not alone with this type of thinking.
Millions of Kenyans who think like you will wake up one August morning, use this type of thinking and vote back rogue mheshimiwas.
Turkana oil is worth over KSh 30 trillion, yet it’s deliberately undervalued so Kenyans won’t question or monitor their own natural resources.
This oil should have replenished our reserves and significantly lowered fuel prices. Instead, regimes obsessed with “privatization” are positioning to take it all for themselves.
This is cruelty to the people of Turkana and to Kenya as a whole.
Not just theft, but inhuman exploitation disguised as capitalism and “prudent management.”
Kenya can afford a medium-sized refinery and drilling infrastructure.
But instead, control is handed out through FDPs to private interests, allegedly proxy companies like Gulf Energies.
This is daylight robbery of national wealth.

“No more exploitation. No more plundering.”
At the AU Summit, UN chief calls for financial reform, climate action and fair value chains for Africa’s critical minerals.
“Africa must benefit from the resources of Africa.”

The absence of permanent African seats on the Security Council is indefensible.
The Security Council must reflect today’s world. This is 2026 — not 1946.
Whenever decisions about Africa and the world are on the table, Africa must be at the table.
Governors have millions for house warming parties, for Christmas trees and fake seedlings but do not have funds for ICU units.
Auditor General reports that 42 counties (90%) do not have ICU units.
When they get sick, they run to Nairobi hospital or fly abroad using your taxes.
When you get sick, they leave in the hands of 'god' waiting to go and 'beat' politics in your funeral.
You must start whipping these people.
And that's why they are trying to escape accountability.
Wajinga nyinyi!

God have Mercy on these innocent children and women from Mandera.
I am overwhelmed by the information and evidence coming through from Northern Kenya on the misery and inhuman conditions women and children endure daily especially now the drought is ravaging the North.
We must, collectively, without fear, come through for our fellow Kenyans in Northern part of our Nation.
They are going through unspeakable indignity, inhuman and degrading conditions while their leaders wallow in opulence and luxury using the taxpayers money meant for development in the North.
I call upon all Kenyans to rise up and speak for the North, they too, are Kenyans!

Kenyans will eternally dominate any arena that doesn’t require “teamwork,” planning, or funding from the government or its rotten sports federations.
As long as success hinges solely on raw individual talent, grit, and zero interference, we’ll keep shining on the global stage.
The manufactured bottlenecks, vicious gatekeeping and calculated sabotage embedded in Kenya’s organized sports - designed purely for political patronage and elite capture - are utterly revolting.
Massive congratulations to David Munyua for claiming the World Darts Championship title.
Proof yet again: strip away the corrupt middlemen and their toxic bureaucracy, and Kenyan excellence speaks for itself.

Today’s by-elections have revealed how far we still have to go as a democratic nation. Watching seasoned leaders resort to conflict instead of principle shows that while growing older is inevitable, growing up is not. When elections involving fewer than a million participants cannot be conducted credibly & peacefully, we must pause & reflect on what this says about our political culture.
This is a call to all political parties and leaders in government & in the opposition. The responsibility is collective, and in this moment, you have all fallen short of the standards our country deserves
For all that you do on farming, Seeds sovereignty etc sensitization, for all you have done so far and more, thank you @MissNasike. Na ahsanteni sana @LawSocietyofKe!
