मैं पहले द‍िन से इस बात पर कायम हूं क‍ि CJP को BJP ने ही बनाया है.

पहले द‍िन से प्‍लान था क‍ि व‍िपक्ष को डिस्क्रेडिट करके, अपने ह‍िसाब का व‍िपक्ष तैयार कर द‍िया जाए.

एयरपोर्ट पर परमिशन देना हो, या जंतर-मंतर पर धरना चलते देना हो. सब कुछ प्‍लान के ह‍िसाब से था.

मैं ये गारंटी के साथ कह सकता हूं- 20 तारीख से पहले मोदी सरकार चाह देती तो 1 घंटे धरना ना चल पाता, लेक‍िन सरकार ने स्‍क्र‍िप्‍ट के ह‍िसाब से चलने द‍िया.

वांगचुक ज‍िन्‍हें खुद अम‍ित शाह ने जेल से न‍िकाला था, उनका भूख हड़ताल करना, और अचानक से एक सुबह उन्‍हें उठा लेना. सब कुछ स्‍क्र‍िप्‍ट के ह‍िसाब से था.

बस 20 तारीख को जो हुआ, वो ना BJP को पता था, ना ही CJP को अंदाजा. बड़ी संख्‍या में लोग द‍िल्‍ली पहुंच गए.

यहां से सब कुछ स्‍क्र‍िप्‍ट के बाहर चला गया. इसलीए CJP की पूरी टीम ही मौके से गायब हो गई. क‍िसी को एक लाठी नहीं पड़ी.

देश भर से आए बच्‍चों ने सब कुछ झेला, और उसके बाद ये मामला बहुत बड़ा हो गया. जो अब BJP और CJP के कंट्रोल से बाहर था.

स्‍क्र‍िप्‍ट का अंत करीब-करीब ऐसा ही था, ज‍िसमें सरकार संवेदनशील लगे और व‍िपक्ष के नाम पर कुछ लोग खड़े क‍र द‍िए जाएं, जो सरकार के ह‍िसाब से हों.

क्‍योंक‍ि व‍िपक्ष प‍िछले 3 साल में बहुत ज्‍यादा मजबूत हो गया था. खासकर युवाओं के बीच में अपनी पहुंच मजबूत की थी. इसी बात को तोड़ने के ल‍िए CJP का नाटक क‍िया गया.

जब 20 तारीख के बाद मामला स्‍क्र‍िप्‍ट के बाहर गया तो पहले कुछ वक्‍त इंतजार हुआ. फ‍िर वांगचुक को खुद सरकार ने सूप प‍िलाकर मामला खत्‍म क‍िया.

और आख‍िर में धमेंद्र का इस्‍तीफा हो गया.

इस्‍तीफे के बाद ज‍िस तरह से सरकार के मंत्री बता रहे हैं क‍ि धरना तत्‍काल खत्‍म क‍िया जाए, वो बताता है क‍ि इसे कौन चला रहा था.

आप खुद सोच‍िए, ये ज‍ितने सेलिब्रेटी हैं, ये अचानक से कैसे बोलने लगे. एक जैसी टीशर्ट पहनकर, कॉओर्ड‍िनेटेड तरीक से. ज‍िनके ल‍िए पैसा ही सब कुछ है, वो देश की च‍िंता क्‍यों करने लगे, वो भी अचानक.

अब लोगों के बीच ये भ्रम पैदा हो गया क‍ि CJP की सरकार सुन रही है, व‍िपक्ष वही है. सरकार यही भ्रम लोगों में बनाए रखना चाहती है. और स्‍क्र‍िप्‍ट के ह‍िसाब से ये बात लोगों में चली गई.

सरकार को अपने ह‍िसाब का व‍िपक्ष म‍िल गया, ज‍िसे वो अपने ह‍िसाब से चला सकती है. जो भी इस भ्रम जाल में फंस रहा है, वो अपना और देश का नुकसान कर रहा है.

इस पूरे आंदोलन में लेफ्ट के ज‍ितने भी छात्र संगठन, कांग्रेस के छात्र और युवा संगठन और बाकी व‍िपक्ष के छात्र संगठन शाम‍िल हैं, उनकी मंशा साफ थी. वो असल में व‍िपक्ष का काम कर रहे थे.

इस आंदोलन में ज‍ितने भी युवा थे, जो देश के अलग-अलग कोनों से जुड़े, सबकी मंशा साफ थी.

बस CJP का मामला अलग है, ज‍िसपर बहुत संदेह है. इसे लेकर सावधान रहना ठीक.

After decades, the conversation is about education and reforms. It will be a travesty if this stops with the resignation of a minister. Families spend 20% of their income educating their children. But once in government, the same people cannot find even 4% for education. Education is a priority when the child is ours—and expendable when the child is someone else’s.

Look at where we have fallen in the last decade:

1. Between 2004–05 and 2013–14, India’s education budget rose from ₹13,098 crore to ₹71,059 crore, recording a CAGR of 21%. In contrast, between 2014–15 and 2023–24, it increased from ₹68,874 crore to ₹1,23,357 crore, but at a much slower CAGR of just 7%. School education growth fell sharply from 22% to 5%, while higher education growth declined from 19% to 10%.

2. Between 2004–14 and 2014–24, total revenue expenditure—excluding interest and grants—rose from ₹57.95 lakh crore to ₹155.57 lakh crore. However, education expenditure increased from only ₹4.05 lakh crore to ₹8.38 lakh crore, causing education’s share of revenue expenditure to fall from 6.98% to 5.39%.

3. Between 2014 and 2024, government colleges grew from 7885 to 7994, a growth of just 1%. In the same period, private colleges went up from 21,750 to 32,513, a growth of 49%. Including the Private aided colleges (which grew at 24%), the total growth has been 35%. Sadly, the growth of government colleges has been by accident and not by design.

4. Similarly, enrolment also took a turn for the worse. Students enrolling in a public institution grew by 21% (134 lacs to 163 Lacs) while those into private grew by 42% (182 lacs t0 357 Lacs).

5. We are closing 25 schools a day. Between 2014 and 2023, India’s population grew by over 12 crore, or 9.3%. Yet, during roughly the same period, the number of government schools declined by 89,441, or 8%.

6. School education is effectively killed and replaced by an entrance exam or a competitive exam. For Ex: CUET is the most useless exam that has been imposed on students in Delhi. Even a topper from Delhi cannot get a seat to study in any college in Delhi unless the student appears for CUET. And every entrance exam is against equity as only those who can afford coaching or have access to coaching succeed. The public schools are death a death blow.

7. Between 2014 and 2026, IIT tuition increased by 122%, At IIM Ahmedabad, the two-year programme fee rose by about 66%, NID and NLU fees also rose substantially by two to three times.

8. While India is seeking its Indian origin scientists working abroad to return back to India, our own research fellowships have been disbanded. The KVPY gave way to INSPIRE Scholarships. In the current year, there are no budgetary allocations for INSPIRE fellowships too.

9. The fees in Private colleges has grown beyond means of most Indians. NEET as an exam is a competition for just about 30,000 Government Medical College seats in the open category! The other 70,000 private seats are a ‘reservation for the rich’ where just about 1% of India can afford to pay the 1.25 Crores fees. All Private colleges cost about 5X to 10X of public institutions.

10. While the Government announced an additional 9911 seats for the current year with much fanfare, only 2400 are in public institutions. 78% of them are in private space and outside the reach of the common man.

11. As per Economic Survey 2025-26 report,
a. 56.2% of professor posts in central universities and other HEIs remain vacant (as on 31-01-2025)
b. 75% of HEIs lack industry readiness
c. About 2 crore adolescents (14-18 years) are out of school.

12. While we have a GER target that is much touted, what we have done is to reduce GER at secondary stage, which is at 68.5% (against NEP target of 100% by 2030). Nearly one third of children are outside the education system, the stage (class 9 to 12) that determines employability and higher education participation.

This conversation took decades coming. I do hope that we don’t stop with the resignation of a minister and demand bigger reforms. This is an opportunity that India cannot let go. This is important to every student, every parent, every young person and to our nation, INDIA.

सोनिया गांधी जी ने बिल्कुल सही कहा है। यही सच है कि एक तरफ़ तो मोदी सरकार शिक्षा विरोधी है, तो दूसरी तरफ़ सरकारी स्कूल बंद कर रही है, सरकारी यूनिवर्सिटी-कॉलेज को क़र्ज़ लेने पर मजबूर कर रही है।

शिक्षा में पब्लिक फंडिंग रोक कर संघ से जुड़े संगठनों और व्यक्तियों को शिक्षा सेक्टर सौंप रहे हैं।

पेपर लीक भी इसी एप्रोच का हिस्सा है। NTA को डिज़ाइन ही इस तरह किया है कि exam सरकारी सिस्टम से नहीं हो, जिसकी ऑडिटिंग होती है। बल्कि सारे exam ठेकेदारी व्यवस्था की मार्फ़त किए जाएँ।

इसीलिए ये सिर्फ़ एक NEET पेपर लीक का मामला नहीं है। ये मोदी सरकार की नीतियों का मामला है।

It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know n see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them.

I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard n make their future and a greater, educated India. This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, n the students have done this peacefully. So courageous and brave. Driven and motivated towards education, this generation will make India proud.

This issue is between the students and the educational system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should only go to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them all the support n make it a stronger educational system. It’s a win-win situation. Hoping n praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated.

Education should be the next trend and fashion, and should get trendier n more fashionable yr by yr, itna k bahar se log come to India to study and India becomes an educational hub.
