لان المباراة وما حصل فيها ما تزال حديث الناس في كل مكان، كان مفاجئا لي الانتقادات الفنية للمنتخب المصري ومدربه وبأنه لم يعرف كيف يحافظ على النتيجة، طبعا من يدافع عن ميسي وبالتالي الأرجنتين بشكل عاطفي جدا يصعب النقاش معه لانه مستحيل ان يرى الأمر بعيدا عن مصلحة ميسي، لكن عن اي انتقادات فنية نتحدث لمدرب ومنتخب تقدم بهدفين للاشيء والغي له دون وجه حق هدف ثالث ولم يعامل بشكل عادل من الحكم على مستوى الاخطاء والبطاقات الصفراء ( بالمناسبة مضحك ومقزز تصريح ديشامب عن الحكم )…
اي انتقاد لاي مدرب يجب ان يكون بناء على ما حققه قياسا إلى الامكانيات الموجودة، حسام حسن مع مصر قدم اكثر من اي توقع في العالم وقدم ما لم يكن برأيي اي مدرب آخر في العالم قادر على تقديمه لاعتبارات تتخطى الامور الفنية والتكتيكية، عن اي انتقادات نتحدث ! احترموا عقول العالم…

I just submitted an op-ed on this to Washington Post, discussing how technology cannot substitute human accountability. We must have transparency, or all the new rules and reviews create more opportunities for interference. With all due respect to one of the best referees in history I have to confront this assessment. It was technically BEFORE the goal in absolute time but not IMMEDIATELY before. It's quite a stretch of the normal logic to directly connect an accident near the goal area of one team to the action on the opposite side of the field. And since there was no arbiter's whistle to stop the game (wrong decision, agreed!), this violation cannot justify the decision to disallow the goal. And regarding the second incident in question, you are again correct stating that there was no violation of the rules against Salah, but this conclusion is reached after careful examination of the video footage from various angles. The referee during the game could not instantly verify it and considering the similarities of these two cases HAD to go to the monitor to confirm the assessment. By not doing so he simply reiterated our understanding that the game is being run by anonymous partisans behind the screens.

You spent months criticizing Qatar and talking about every possible issue before and during the 2022 World Cup, yet it turned out to be one of the best-organized tournaments in history. Public transportation was free, fans could travel easily between stadiums some fans saw 4 matches in the stadium in same day, and the overall organization was praised by millions of visitors.

Now, when concerns are being raised about visa delays, strict entry procedures, and travel difficulties surrounding tournaments in the United States, we don't hear the same level of criticism from you. There have also been complaints about organizational decisions and match arrangements that many fans consider unnecessary or difficult, yet your voice is nowhere near as loud as it was when Qatar hosted the World Cup.

If your criticism is truly based on principles, then the same standards should apply to everyone. But when Qatar receives endless criticism while similar concerns elsewhere are met with silence, people are naturally going to question whether your issue was really about organization at all.
