I welcome the successful conclusion of the IMF Staff Article IV Consultation Mission to Somalia last week.
As is evident, our efforts to advance key national reforms and maintain economic stability, despite the significant internal and external shocks, is paying dividend. We are proud that we remain on track to attain 2.3 percent growth in 2026, and 2.7 percent in 2027, despite all the existing global challenges impacting #Somalia.
As we go forward, our government will continue to prioritise preserving macroeconomic stability by: accelerating domestic revenue mobilization, maintaining spending discipline, enhancing public financial and debt management, and strengthening financial supervision and inclusion.
