Munir and Mohammed, the eldest brothers in a family from Rafah, are now living in a tent in Al-Mawasi with nine other relatives after their father was martyred and their home was destroyed. Their household of 11 includes their mother, Munir and Mohammed, their 11-year-old twin brothers, three other younger siblings, Mohammed’s wife, and his two children, a two-year-old daughter and an infant. Since their father's martyrdom, Munir, who works as a nurse, has taken on much of the responsibility for supporting the family. With food in short supply, clean water difficult to access, and the cost of basic necessities far beyond reach, daily life has become increasingly difficult. The family is also coping with limited access to medicine, clothing, and other essentials while living in overcrowded conditions. Despite these challenges, Munir continues his work in healthcare and, together with other family members, helps support those around them whenever possible. They are seeking support to cover their immediate needs and to help their family move toward greater safety and stability.

In the heart of suffering, we are not asking for the impossible… we are only asking for a chance to live.
We are families living in tents, carrying the weight of exhausting days, fear, and constant worry for our children. Water is not a luxury for us; it is life itself. Every drop that reaches us eases a great burden and relieves a part of our pain.
We praise Allah in every circumstance and believe that Allah never forgets His servants. We are doing everything we can to endure and protect our children’s lives, but the road has become extremely difficult and long.
We are not seeking pity; we are seeking a compassionate hand, someone who understands that behind these tents are hearts longing for safety and children who dream of growing up in an environment that preserves their dignity and gives them the right to education and a decent life.
If there is any opportunity for safety or a way to reach a secure place, we will seek it for the sake of our families and children — not because we want to abandon our homeland, but because we are searching for a dignified life after being exhausted by these circumstances.
To everyone who reads my words… your prayers, support, and kindness can be a reason for easing the suffering of an entire family.
