I get that social media causes harm to the mental health of kids and I don't have a problem waiting until their older but lets face it, those kids are gonna find their way around it.

Ban adult males, they're the real danger to kids. I know, not all men, but always a man.

Today, our government introduced new legislation to protect our kids online. Canada's Safe Social Media Act will hold social media and AI platforms accountable, make them safer, and restrict access to social media for children under 16.

More and more kids are suffering from anxiety, depression, self-harm, and exploitation. To keep our kids safe, we have to ensure that our laws keep up with technology.

@dovahqynn I worked the call centre for a major courier company. You could see the turnover on the seniority list. Each class trained twelve people, thew seniority list showed one, maybe two people with the same start date. They go through people like we're disposable.

@reblavoie My dog has been pawing at two cushions on my relatively new sectional. I've taken it apart, deep cleaned. Found nothin'. I think a message has gone through the doggy telegraph system to go ahead and find a spot to fuck with your caregivers.
