@lewis_goodall I lived in Birmingham for 3 odd years for study. It was a hot bed of politicisation because of the Iraq war. It's when Salma Yaqoob started making a name for herself on the university speaking circuit, marches, etc. 20 years later it feels like this evolution was inevitable.
