If everyone just explained what they mean and stick to one game as the subject then this controversy wouldn’t keep being brought up, and I would be able to understand the points being made.
All of everyone’s arguments only work through vagueposting because everyone has a specific game in mind. But that game is completely different per individual, which is why these stupid “debates” keep happening.
many reasons
1. accessibility
1a. money
1b. age
1c. platform/device
1d. region
1e. game is not on market
2. enjoyment
2a. game is more story than gameplay
2b. gameplay is lackluster/not necessary
3. previewing before buying
4. etc
who are you to be policing?
Someone who had a console game in mind would have an argument that’s inapplicable to someone else who imagined a mobile game that’s free-to-play.
But since this is the internet, it’s a problem nobody wants solved because this isn’t about solving a problem.
If you’re a man between the ages of 18-29 & you’re not spending 7+ hours a day on video games you’re wasting your life & your ancestors are ashamed of you
