Mo with the easy win on points, Del with the lowest score and back to back birdies to finish, The Mole with the biggest smile and same ball he started with. A new course record ladies and gents.
Always welcome.
Return of the Mole
The sun’s out (for 1 day) and we are blessed to see not only the return of Mo from his 3 week injury lay-off, but also, friend of the channel, The Mole aka @simmothemole .
Everyone loves the Mole!
The 160 ballspeed and @TaylorMadeGolf Stealth + was on show over a quick 9 holes in a friendly game.
Mo & Del had lots to learn from the Mole about keeping the ball low, very low, and how to adjust a very adjustable driver mid round along with a flop shot masterclass to end.
The bad news.
Mo now has 15 clubs, one has to go. Rumour is it may be the 60 degree wedge. The bunker beater supreme.
Will he ever get out of a bunker again?
Good news, bad news.
Good news.
Mo’s return to fitness continues, with a significant breakthrough. He is now well enough to use his right index finger to click ‘buy now’ on the @scottsdalegolf website.
What has he purchased I hear you ask. Well, a cheat code of a club according to @4golfonline, the @PingTour G430 7 wood.
Super easy to hit, versatile, and most importantly looks great next to his G430 driver.
We can’t wait to see it on the course.
BMW PGA championship
Following the snow, we have rain, so no golf for the boys.
Gives them a chance to reminisce about their day out at Wentworth to see the pros.
Rained then too.
Had the pleasure of seeing most players on the range before following the Rahm/Hovland group for a bit, crossing over to poults, Mcilroy, Shane and Tommy, before following team Sulley @andysulligolf down a few holes for his glorious start.
Great swing, better shoes.
Del had a reasonable round starting with a rare birdie. He doesn't bow. Bow it one Mo had a shocker.
A couple more @Mo_Del_Golf balls lost to the golf gods.
Roll on spring? Spring looks awful. Roll on summer!
Bow it like Mo
The boys got a quick lunch 9 in before the snow(?!?!) came.
After paying a bundle in lessons from PGA teaching professionals, Mo was instead implementing a @YouTube tip he'd found to bow his wrists like @JonRahmpga.
Session ended with a bit of fun with the speed sticks training with Del showing there’s life in the old dog yet and confirming to Mo that there’s nothing wrong with his mevo calibration.
Del’s hat game needs work.
Del headed over to Mo’s for some swing tips and a play on his @FlightScopeGolf mevo+ set up.
Mo continues the post lesson grind and showing good consistency with numbers.
Bunkers aren’t usually a problem for Mo & Del. They can get out of them, but these long ones you just can’t practice really.
Hence why Mo wanted another go from the next one. Get his moneys worth from his Taylormade hi toes.

How’s your bunker game?
Is there a harder shot in golf than an 80yrd bunker shot?
This one made worse by the fact it’s a 440yrd par 4. With a bunker in front of a bunker before the tight pin on a down slope.
No chance. As proven by our resident bunker expert Mo.
