2/3 Each year, these events remind of a couple of things: the unique and strong bond we share with the UK; the life-changing opportunity I had to have benefitted from the scholarship; and the need to serve as a changemaker in my profession, community, country and the world.

1/3 Had a good evening yesterday. I met and interacted with Commonwealth and Chevning scholars and fellows at @LisaJChesney’s residence. Filled with fine minds, positive energy and diverse professionals, the event renewed my hope in and uplifted my spirit for Sierra Leone.

2/3 This was much needed in light of the recent unprecedented reversal of our democratic gains and its attendant consequences. At the Pre-departure and Welcome event, we congratulated newly returned scholars and shared pieces of advice with new awardees.

Just completed the Africa Arbitration Academy 3-week training in London. I earned another Diploma in Int. Comm. Arb., got enrolled as a Member of LCIA Users’ Councils, and emerged as of one (the two) AAA Prize winners. Happy to share this news again 😎
