The Ministry of Internal Security of the Southwest State of Somalia formally warns against the reported transfer and distribution of weapons originating from Egypt 🇪🇬 to militia groups linked to extremist elements (Khawaariij) and Militia. This act constitutes a grave threat to national security, with the potential to exacerbate instability, incite conflict, and undermine social cohesion.

The Ministry expresses profound concern regarding the intent behind these actions, which appear designed to destabilize the Southwest State and target Ethiopian 🇪🇹 Sector Three forces operating under the peacekeeping mission. Such conduct carries serious security implications and poses a direct risk to the overall stability of the region.
