🚨 SOMEBODY ISN’T TELLING THE FULL STORY ABOUT THE 🇨🇦🇺🇸TRADE DEAL.

Washington and Ottawa are now giving Canadians two completely different explanations for why negotiations collapsed.

The U.S. says:

Canada declined to finalize terms agreed earlier this week
Canada introduced new demands
Canada walked back previous commitments
Canada continued retaliatory measures against U.S. goods
Washington offered major tariff reductions on steel, aluminum, autos and lumber
The deal included aerospace coordination, critical minerals, digital trade, export controls, forced-labour enforcement and formal USMCA negotiations

Now compare that with Ottawa.

Canada says:

Important progress had been made
The U.S. made last-minute changes
Those changes were unfair and uneconomic
Carney suspended negotiations and ordered Canadian negotiators home

That’s basically it.

No detailed explanation of WHAT Washington allegedly changed.

No list of the unacceptable provisions.

No explanation of which previously agreed terms were altered.

No detailed rebuttal of the U.S. claim that Canada introduced new demands.

No explanation of what Canada was being asked to concede in exchange for lower tariffs.

And that is the problem.

The U.S. has put substantially more detail into the public record than the Canadian government has.

That does NOT automatically mean Washington is telling the truth.

But if Ottawa’s version is accurate, Canadians deserve to see the evidence.

What exactly did the Americans change at the last minute?

Which provisions became “uneconomic”?

What commitments does Washington claim Canada walked back?

What did Canada demand that the U.S. refused?

There is also one fact neither side can really dispute:

Canada walked away.

Carney’s own statement says HE suspended negotiations and ordered Canada’s negotiators back to Ottawa.

Meanwhile, the U.S. says Canada was being offered significant reductions on steel, aluminum, autos and lumber potentially some of the most favourable treatment available to a major exporter.

Ottawa doesn’t really dispute that concessions were offered.

It says they simply weren’t enough.

So Canadians deserve the documents.

Release the negotiating framework from earlier this week.

Release the final U.S. proposal.

Show exactly what changed.

Because right now Washington is making specific allegations while Ottawa is asking Canadians to accept a much more generalized explanation.

If the U.S. really blew up the deal with last-minute demands, prove it.

If Canada walked back commitments, Canadians deserve to know that too.

What does Ottawa have to hide?

Today is the deadline for Health Care Professionals in British Columbia to renew their licences ahead of the new Health Professions and Occupations Act coming into force April 1.

I am hearing directly from professionals who are questioning whether they will renew under this new system.

This legislation makes major changes to how all 16 heatlh professional boards are regulated and controlled, including:

• Moving away from traditional self-regulation and placing greater authority in centralized, government-appointed boards.

• Expanding inspection and enforcement powers, including provisions that allow for the search and seizure of records with or without a warrant in certain circumstances.

• Introducing significant penalties, including fines of up to $200,000 and potential jail time at a time when people can’t find a family doctor, even the possibility of physicians stepping away should be taken seriously.

Any loss of of our health care professionals right now is a serious concern and entirely avoidable.

Josie Osborne needs to extend the deadline for the enactment of the HPOA act and allow for serious debate to happen of my private members bill M238.

I literally have no words for how nuts all of this is. The harm inflicted on the owners of this farm is beyond comprehension, and the psychological stress they are enduring while the system drags on is unimaginable. Resources are being wasted on measures where there is clearly more to the story and so much at stake, while the government, under the guise of keeping us “safe,” is acting against the very people it is supposed to serve. Instead of protection, it delivers confusion, fear, and suffering.

But this is not new—we have seen it all before, with the jabs and those injured, the lockdowns, and countless other examples where the government acted in the same arrogant and entitled manner. The real question is: do Canadians now understand how powerful they are?

It has always been on us to be active, to ask hard questions and to demand answers, and I am so pleased to see many Canadians stepping up. This is not about being polite or blindly listening to the government with faith; this is about holding our government to account, which is our civic responsibility in a democracy!

Remember: do not treat those in power whom you agree with as your heroes, because you will be disappointed. Understand your own power, for that they can never take away, and it is exactly that power they fear the most. I trust the government is slowly coming to terms with this. After all their shenanigans, they are losing the trust of the people, and without that trust, they lose power. They are beginning to understand that the people have recognized their power and can no longer be ignored, and the more they push, the more people wake up to see what is really happening.

In my 2014 senior year economics thesis class, 3 out of the 8 students did their economic thesis on Bitcoin… #Bitcoin price was ~ $400.

I didn’t take Bitcoin seriously until 2021…. Eff me 🫠

Took me 7 years, as a finance professional with an economics education.

Many cannot conceptualize Bitcoin because they have no idea the scale / size of the asset. The price of a single Bitcoin is less than a Ford F-150… Yet they don’t understand that #Bitcoin is the 9th largest asset on the planet when looking at Market Cap.

Once the price of one #Bitcoin is greater than the Median US home price of $412,000, MANY MANY people will scratch their heads and BEGIN their journey toward Bitcoin & monetary education. (This is where I agree with @BritishHodl’s goal of helping folks get to one Bitcoin - this thing will run away from most of society really quick).

The Fed issues a shitcoin out of thin air called the US dollar to buy US treasury bonds.

Since both of these shitcoins are issued out of thin air (meaning: without performing any productive work) and both can be used to acquire the fruits of productive work (aka real wealth), this shitcoin scam is used to steal the real wealth of dollar savers worldwide.

Whenever politicians clutch pearls or attempt to brow beat bitcoiners about money laundering it is important to remind them that the US government is the biggest money launderer on the planet.

The Treasury issues debt out of thin air, the money gets handed to the Department of Defense and they overpay defense contractors 900x for commonplace nuts and bolts, among other things. This leads to obscene profits for the war industry and they shave off a small chunk of those profits to ensure the politicians that will vote for bigger defense budgets stay in power. Rinse and repeat.

This isn’t confined to the war industry either. It happens across the spectrum. Another example is Operation Warp Speed, which was an example of the Federal government directly funding and obscenely overpaying for a COVID vaccine that poisoned people.

What we’re witnessing is the largest “looting of the treasury” in human history. Politicians and the corporate interests that back them are robbing the American people blind. Taking their money directly via taxes, indirectly via inflation and at the same time running up the biggest government debt bill the world has ever seen.

The politicians who enable this and then clutch pearls about bitcoin’s potential to enable money laundering are the scum of the Earth.

We are all being robbed in broad daylight and the thieves are making you out to be the criminal. Truly diabolical

The government is not your friend. It exist to strip you of your wealth and your freedom.
