We are so excited to be launching our Mobile Community Hubs and Story Buses over the next few weeks, please follow our new services on their twitter pages @leedsmobilehubs@leedsstorybus
After almost 14 years I am moving on. My time with @mobileleeds has been inspiring and has brought many friendships but times change and there are fresh chapters to be written.
We all have a responsibility to stop the spread of #coronavirus and keep others safe.
✋Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds
😷 Wear a face covering over your mouth and nose in indoor settings and on public transport
↔ Make space from people you don’t live with
Often our retired vehicles go to auction and become mobile homes or horse boxes but at least one of our beloved children's mobile libraries is now doing it's library work with @DevonMobileLibs
We are launching a food donation campaign in partnership with @FareShareUK, with companies able to donate food at [email protected] or donate money to help buy and distribute food at https://t.co/5fLoIVp65v
Join us at 8pm this evening to #ClapForOurCarers and give a huge round of applause to our key workers and everyone else who is helping keep our country moving! 👏 👏
As we continue to support our communities across Leeds we’re also working hard to keep our own teams updated, so we’re encouraging council staff to join this Facebook group (just need payroll number to register): https://t.co/cALSGpTm99 #TeamLeeds
When it's over
We will appreciate what we have and have had
We will celebrate the good we have seen, the love that has been shown
We will understand, perhaps just a little, what it is to not have everything we desire right now, the value of waiting, of sharing.
I'm sure the rules vary from authority to authority but I do know that some libraries don't accept donations so check first. Everyone can big up mobile libraries though
