Today was one of those days where all I could do was breathe. Even just breathing was difficult to accomplish- I felt like I was being slowly smothered, like each breath took extra effort.

But I made it through today. And that’s enough. #DepressionSucks

Black, queer, disabled love exists.

Think about that. One of the most water-rich nations in the entire world, but the Indigenous communities the land it resides on was stolen from can’t even get clean drinking water.

This is settler colonialism in practice.
This is genocide in action.

Folxs, if you have a therapist and a chance to ask them about it:
Talk and ask about what Attachment Theory is and how it affects you life and relationships with people.

See what answers you get.

Just a reminder that the vast majority of undocumented people in Southeast Louisiana won’t receive any aid from FEMA so our collective community support will be critical for helping our neighbors survive recover post-Ida. Please share & give generously:

-best and sometimes it's a lot to bear with everyday things. Even our own partners can try to make if better, but sometimes it doesn't always work.

I'm hoping that wherever they are, they are not in any more pain and feeling better than they did here. I will miss them ❤

We had found out one of my SD org graduates had passed yesterday. I am not particularly close to most, so hearing this caused a bit of a moment in me.

They'd just recently graduated college, their SD training and everything seemed okay. It made me cry for the-

Their lil girl being trained to help their owner through life struggles. Now, they have passed and their lil one has no idea what's going on or why. It's a bit more surreal in this because I get brought back to remember why our dogs exist and work for us. Days are not always the-

-from the ground up again so we can graduate and be a better working team. I can't neglect it for too long or he regresses.

Pictures for tax on before he had to go to the vet. It got so bad from him picking on them and making them bleed.

With everything that's happened, I am glad that I'm able to go to my SD trainer and ask questions.

I realized my fear for Wysp manifested again in him not wanting to get hurt when I woke up to seeing his hot spots bleeding. I'm going to ease him back into training and working-

@ErisEvening The trauma this bean has endured. I am so sorry Lil one ;_;

Wanna see what happens when your pupper decides he wants to literally sleep in his poop but not tell anyone 😒

Emergency grooming that happened yesterday and now he looks like the most disappointed child 🤣

Though, he needed a cut, so we start over.

@ErisEvening Well, was the sap worth it to them?

[HumbleServiceAnimal ♿🐕🤷🏿‍♀️ @MobilityPoof]

@ErisEvening He looked like a defluffed chicken wing 🤣 But yea, his hair grows back pretty quickly in a month, so we'll be back at it again.

But I will give him your love.

-because they genuinely refused to acknowledge and listen to what was going on. People were so quick to cry racism, manipulation, etc. People were quick to stan a favorite and make them flawless. When it turns out they weren't what you put them up to be, you want folxs to feel-

[HumbleServiceAnimal ♿🐕🤷🏿‍♀️ @MobilityPoof]

It's really telling and sad when the folxs who were quick to call you all sorts of rude and untrue things turned out to be done in by a person who was exactly those things.

You tried to warn them, you tried to help the person who did those things, and you tried to not let it-

-get as far as it did because you thought the person to maybe be a friend.

I don't exactly have a lot of sympathy towards someone who made threats to my life and others just cause they could. I don't have sympathy for those who got affected by a person's actions directly-
