Compute output is bounded by energy in. The dominant data center model feeding that compute is behind-the-meter and gas-fired. So the unit economics of an AI build run straight through the natural gas market — price, basis, and transport on the molecule that powers the rack.
Mobius has managed the gas and power risk stack since 2002. We now have roughly 8–10 GW of data center gas demand under active management.
