@BreakAlways Do I really want to have merch with an insurance company, grocery store, financial services firm or petrostate as the main thing it says on it? The casquettes and bidons are basically the only appealing items because they're mostly unobtrusive
@NairoInGreen@DrctTim Yeah but at least duplantis is competing against himself, if pogacar was continually breaking hour records it at least would still be interesting from a human performance point of view.
@sultanofwatts@DrctTim Because they only participate for like 10 sec at a time. It’s not 4 hours of a race which ends in a 2 hour period of dominance where you know exactly what’s going to happen, 0 suspense.
FIFA really needs to re-seed for the round of 32. Seeing all these teams strategically drawing and losing in order to get a preferable opponent is awful. Mbappe vs Haaland is what the World Cup promises and yet we probably won’t get to see it at all.
Americans don't go outside, except for the 23 seconds it takes to walk from their air conditioned cardboard homes to their air conditioned cars that they drive to the nearest air conditioned Walmart that's a 36 minute drive away because of zoning laws
@0xSearchie@UrbanExplorer00 That didn’t happen for the Jordan/Algerie match at all, I was trying to buy some and the cheapest day of was 600+. Only the Miami matches have had sub $100 day of prices
@CoraCHarrington I just saw a dress made out of it at a shop a day ago and I had no clue what it was but figured it was some sort of rayon/viscose type material
@OliveTonic@Marcus_Rosario I found a bar there to watch the bears game one time but there’s not a ton, for the World Cup everyone just has TVs setup regardless if they’re a sports bar or not because they want business
@tothcsabatibor If I’m in power I would also tell the IMF president and German chancellor that I’m not a leftist either, what’s the benefit of telling them that you are?
