Everything is political right now. Everything feels loud and toxic and relentless.
If it’s too much, I want to say this plainly:
you’re allowed to step away.
Every day, even briefly, choose a world that doesn’t drain your soul. Pick any author. Any story. Read a book. Let yourself be somewhere else for a while.
Stories don’t need to be safe to be sustaining. Even worlds with danger and darkness can offer something our own often can’t—distance, meaning, and breath.
If you’re looking for a place like that, I’ve been building one.
The world of Mina and the Kingdom of Arganus is here if you need it.
This is the beginning of that world.
We were never meant to drown in our own reality nonstop. In the darkest chapters of history, people wrote—not because the world was easy, but because the soul still needed shelter.
