It’s so much worse when they are close with people that I’m still close with, I still like them and want to be friends with them, but when they are mentioned, it’s like a wave of jealousy? Sadness? Fear? Maybe all three idk

Why are people that I used to be so close with so scary now. I’m terrified of talking to them again, I’m scared they wont like me anymore or ever again. Every mention of them makes me scared, and that makes me push them away, which just ruins any chance at a friendship thats left
