Thank you to everyone who made THE TERMINAL LIST Season 2 the #1 show on Prime Video less than 24 hours after its release 🙏 If you’ve seen it, what did you think? If not, do your weekend plans include a binge? Will SAVAGE SON be next…?
While Orion is docked with Starship, Starship will perform a trans-lunar injection burn to bring the connected spacecraft to lunar orbit.
Starship will bring two astronauts to the lunar surface for several days before delivering them back to Orion for the ride back to Earth.
This is so messed up. The Big 3 automakers did the same thing to @Tesla by lobbying states to block its direct sales.
T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon are scared they’ll lose billions to SpaceX, which is inevitable once Starlink Mobile launches with 5G connectivity in 2028.
Their stocks keep dropping every time SpaceX announces it’s acquiring new spectrum.
This makes sense. (1) Ukraine had been hacking Starlink to get around flight restrictions for years. (2) When Starlink tightened their security, the hacks failed. (3) For political reasons, Zelenskyy accused Musk of shutting down access.
BREAKING: New footage shows the moment Islamists entered a church in Jordan and began slaughtering worshippers.
Six have been confirmed dead, with dozens more injured.
NASA and @SpaceX have just shared new images of "Cabin 1" inside Starship for future astronaut missions. It's built in Starfactory at Starbase, Texas.
They also shared some new renderings of Artemis III docking adapter:
@seanmmitchell@wholemars I have a reservation before then the price went up. Now there’s a $25K tariff on top. But there’s a lot of CT in my area even with the high price. Rich people still buy them . Lol
In 1952, a Marine lieutenant bought a small Mongolian mare from a young Korean stable boy for $250. The boy sold her because he needed money to buy an artificial leg for his sister.
The Marines named her Reckless, after their recoilless rifle platoon.
Her job was to carry heavy ammunition up steep hills to the guns. The Marines trained her to step over barbed wire, lie down under fire, and run into a bunker when shells started falling.
She learned fast. She also learned to eat everything: scrambled eggs, pancakes, Coca-Cola, beer, chocolate bars, and once, reportedly, a pile of poker chips.
In March 1953, during the Battle for Outpost Vegas, Reckless proved what she was made of.
In a single day, she made 51 trips up and down the mountain, mostly alone, carrying thousands of pounds of shells through enemy artillery fire. On the way back down, she often carried wounded Marines.
She was hit by shrapnel twice. She kept going.
The Marines promoted her to sergeant, then staff sergeant. She was awarded two Purple Hearts.
After the war, she came to America, lived at Camp Pendleton, and had foals of her own.
Life magazine named her one of America's 100 greatest heroes, alongside people like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
🛰🛰🛰 A great group of investors just invested $250M in next-gen GPS from Xona.
On Tuesday, SpaceX launched 6 Xona sats, all operational. You can see one deployed in space in the last image, adorned with team signatures.
Xona holds the first and only FCC license to operate a commercial GPS service. By flying a constellation closer to Earth, the service is 100x more powerful, so it even works indoors. And more precise, to cm resolution. And more secure and robust to spoofing. And it’s backward compatible with existing GPS systems. Commercial service begins in 2027.
Excerpts from Forbes today:
“CEO Brian Manning, a former SpaceX engineer who cofounded Xona in 2019 with seven fellow alums of Stanford’s aeronautics and astronautics department decided to raise again after “seeing an immense amount of incoming demand, which I think is a reflection of the progress we have made. We started the year with technically an empty warehouse, and now we have a functional satellite factory.”
Jurvetson was an early investor and former board member in Tesla and has a stake in Elon Musk’s Boring Company. Xona is his third space investment, with satellites apparently becoming something of a specialty.
Satellites have three major markets, each of which involves a distinct set of hardware and a tailored altitude. Jurvetson’s portfolio neatly spans the trifecta: SpaceX’s Starlink offers communication services; geospatial imaging company Planet photographs Earth; and Xona is working to disrupt the third industry segment, navigation, which has historically been dominated by government-run services like GPS.
The U.S. Defense Department developed GPS in the 1970s. The system identifies locations using a constellation of satellites that revolve at a mid-altitude orbit; it also has the benefit of being free. But the flaws of GPS are becoming impossible to ignore. Because its signals are fairly weak, new technologies are increasingly able to jam them with competing transmissions or even “spoof” them with imitation radio waves. This is a particular problem on the modern battlefield—Russia’s electronic warfare tactics are forcing Ukrainians to supplement GPS with backup navigation systems—but it’s disrupting civilian life as well, including commercial travel, which still overwhelmingly uses GPS. “The world’s in a pretty dangerous place relying on GPS alone,” says Manning.
Xona is working to create a stronger and more reliable alternative. Following the business model that Starlink popularized, it plans to mass-produce low-orbit satellites, link them into a commercial network and then sell its services. It expects to deploy 258 satellites into an initial constellation it’s calling Pulsar, which will orbit at a lower altitude than GPS and therefore transmit more powerful signals. Pulsar’s wide-bandwidth radio waves and cutting-edge software will also make it particularly accurate; it will offer centimeter-level precision, which GPS can typically only achieve after applying correction data.
“Fortune favors the bold,” says Jurvetson, who returned to Forbes’ Midas list of top venture investors. “We’ve seen entirely new commercial markets emerge in space, from rideshare launches to daily observation of the entire Earth, that few could have imagined before SpaceX and Planet did it. Xona has the same level of ambition: bring commercial innovation to a domain historically reserved for nation-states.”
This $250 million venture round—which brings the company’s total funding to over $570 million—comes just days after Xona hit a key milestone. On Tuesday, it officially kicked off the rollout of its commercial network by launching six satellites into orbit on one of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rockets.”

When Starlink saved two lives in a California river.
Two people were trapped on the roof of their Jeep in the South Fork Carson River. Water was rising, and the vehicle had started moving in the current.
There was no mobile signal. But they had Starlink and a battery pack.
They used it to contact 775 Off Road and Recovery, share their location. A California Highway Patrol helicopter arrived and lifted both people to safety.
The rescue team said their Starlink call likely saved their lives.
This is why Starlink matters. A working connection can mean the difference between life and death.
This life-saving technology should be available in every part of the world.
🚨DEAR GOD!!!
A migrant from Ghana HUNTED women on the streets of Oklahoma City.
He attacked one. They let him go.
He attacked another. They let him go AGAIN.
Then he tried to R*PE a third woman in BROAD DAYLIGHT, and FIREFIGHTERS tackled him off of her.
He's been arrested 20+ TIMES...
On August 1st, police say he pushed a woman up against a bus stop window and shoved his hands down her pants.
That same day, another woman says he crept up BEHIND her on the sidewalk, yanked her pants down, and ran when she fought him off.
Se*ual battery. Indecent exposure. Arrested.
...and released.
On August 6th, near Scissortail Park, police say he walked up behind ANOTHER woman and grabbed her body over and over, then started digging in his pants. Arrested again.
...and released, again.
On August 12th on a walking trail, police say he came up BEHIND a woman jogging, pulled her to the ground, and tried to R*PE her right there in the open, in broad daylight.
He almost did it. You know who stopped him? Not a judge. Not a bond. FIREFIGHTERS. They were there, they saw it, they pulled him off her and called police.
If those firefighters had been anywhere else that day... that woman gets r*ped on a public trail in the middle of the afternoon.
Every single time, he attacked from behind. Every single time, he hunted a woman alone...and TWO separate times, our justice system caught him... and let him walk right back out to do it again.
He has 20+ arrests since 2022...
WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS.
