🔥 Sneak Peek At Upcoming Doom Eternal VR Mod by Helifax! 🔥

Helifax has been hard at work on a full 6DOF VR mod for Doom Eternal. He was able to get gorgeous synced eye, single pass, stereo instancing working for great performance, & some incredibly sharp visuals in VR.

The mod doesn't have motion controls yet, but he's looking into potentially adding some form of at least 3DOF motion controls like Praydog got working for UEVR.

🔥 Farcry VR Mod Released! 🔥

Cabalistic (lead developed of our Half-Life 2 VR mod) released an initial version of a Farcry VR mod!

The mod has full 6DOF VR look, native stereoscopic 3D rendering (but no motion controls nor roomscale movement)

Praydog made a huge UEVR breakthrough getting universal roomscale working on almost every Unreal Engine game!

Now you can physically walk in your irl room and the player model, etc. properly stays with you, dodge bullets by physically dodging, etc.

Praydog just made a MASSIVE breakthrough with his upcoming UEVR Mod!

If an UE game doesn’t work in native stereo (the default option), Praydog made a fallback solution called synced sequential rendering. That method still renders synced eyes, but renders more like AER behind the scenes. It fixes any broken shaders, etc. but one downside is that temporal effects like AA don’t work properly. As a result, you’ll see ghosting around the edges of things.

ENTER Praydog’s breakthrough! Praydog figured out how to fix all the temporal effects for most any game that needs to use the fallback synced sequential rendering mode. Now almost all games look as good and crisp as native stereo in VR!
