40 days ago, Museveni yet again usurped the will of the people of Uganda and declared himself winner of a sham election on gunpoint. The military continues to surround and occupy my home. Museveni’s criminal son continues to issue threats against me and other Ugandans opposed to his father's illegitimate rule. Yesterday, they did the unthinkable and blocked prayers at Lubaga Cathedral. Amidst all this, I am sending this message to all of us to continue being resilient and exercise the highest level of faith that our country will be free. I thank every Ugandan who has protected me from the evil criminals over the past 40 days.

This evening as our President returned from Bulindo in Kira Municipality where he had gone to check on one of our lawyers, Musisi George, the police and military under the command of one Twesigye surrounded our vehicles and started firing live bullets, teargas canisters and other projectiles. In the process, our President #BobiWine who was clearly targeted was shot in the leg. He is currently being attended to by a team of medical doctors.

This is yet another attempt on the life of our President by the Museveni regime!

The High Court recently sounded a warning. As predicted, the regime has ignored it and continued acting in a rogue manner! If people continue to be abducted in a manner so wanton by armed people moving in private vehicles; people who do not identify themselves or inform their victims why they're being taken away, what will happen when non-state actors kidnap individuals and harm them or kill them?

How can anyone tell, for sure, that @AchileoKivumbi is in the hands of (in)security operatives? Why didn't they summon him if they wanted him to respond to any charges? How about informing family members? How about allowing detained persons access to their lawyers and doctors? The regime has thrown under the wind every provision of Article 23 (2), (3), (4) & (5) of the Constitution. They simply abduct, detain incommunicado, abuse and torture! This should concern every citizen. As we have seen, everyone is a potential victim.

This repression can only come to an end when WE THE PEOPLE respond to the call of duty and say ENOUGH!

Onlookers who witnessed the barbaric scene say he was violently assaulted prior to being whisked away in a Toyota Noah reg. No. UAP 164P. Such impunity continues to prevail despite court rulings against the same.

Comrade Achileo Kivumbi is still missing. The only thing found at the scene of his abduction was his rosary which he treasures and never leaves behind. It was broken and left on the ground, speaking of how violently he was handled as they took him away.

This morning, his wife went to report to police about the abduction. They simply told her that Achileo was taken away by CMI and said they could not receive her report. They told her to go back home and wait until whenever he returns. The IMPUNITY!

Dictator Museveni and his criminals must always remember that they are not the first to wield excessive power and abuse it with impunity. Like their predecessors, they will surely end up on the dustbin of history. Let's continue praying and working hard. This madness will surely come to an end.

After close to a week at CMI, our comrade Karamagi Alex Dog City has been released from CMI together with comrades Wambi Peter from Luuka and Mwanje Ashraf from Kyadondo. They were subjected to so much torture while at CMI, and are now receiving medical care. They shaved off Dog City's dreadlocks as a further way of humiliating him. 😡 WE SHALL OVERCOME!

Here is our friend Kihura Rozio, who ran after my car to give me a hammer (as in enyondo😁) in Isingiro recently. Many people online have started calling him Nsi because of his running skills😅

We traced him and intended to host him at today's press conference as we marked 4 years of @NUP_Ug but the regime blocked our offices. Nonetheless, I hosted him home in Magere.
