Finished up the dashboard details last night and now I’m ready to assemble the rest of the interior. There are 8 small decals on this part that really bring it to life.
I’m interrupting my G-Wagon build to bring you some very exciting news. I am officially an Aoshima Ambassador and I couldn’t be more proud to work with such an amazing brand! Thank you Aoshima for giving me the opportunity to build wonderful quality model kits.
The paint scheme and livery will match my 450 SLC rally car when I’m finished with this build. Next step is painting the window trim and installing the racing decals.
Making some progress on my off-road build this weekend. We now have a rolling chassis that is ready to have the interior mounted on top. I’d say this build is about 75% complete and I’m excited to get into the final assembly stage. Stay tuned to see the rally livery I put on it.
I finished assembling most of the chassis this week, except for the brake calipers and wheels, which I plan to install this weekend. This is a very simple kit but it’s still been a lot of fun to build.
The frame and suspension have been painted and assembled. I painted the main components with TS-17 Gloss Aluminum and sprayed a thin layer of black over top.
