ANNOUNCING OUR OBIDIENT OF THE WEEK
Sharp mind. Sharp tongue. Unshakable commitment.
This week, we celebrate @IdrisZekeriJnr as our Obidient of the Week.
On the timeline, he takes on Peter Obiโs critics with facts, logic, and a mastery of words that leaves flimsy arguments struggling to stand. But Idris does not just defend the cause online. He shows up in person, accompanying Peter Obi on his demanding trips and enduring the hectic schedules that come with the journey. That is commitment beyond the keyboard.
He argues the case. He shows up for the cause. He puts in the work.
Idris is proof that the youth are not waiting for tomorrow to lead. They are already doing the work today, with their intellect, energy, time, and sacrifice.
And that is the kind of youth a Peter Obi presidency believes in: young Nigerians who are ready to contribute, take responsibility, and help build the country they deserve.
Congratulations, @IdrisZekeriJnr. Keep showing up. Keep making the case. Keep moving Nigeria forward.
A New Nigeria is POssible.

I entered one of these buses today from Onions market to Ariaria junction in Aba, Abia State.
The first thing that hit me was the AC. These buses are electric buses charged using solar energy. They do not run on petrol or diesel. The driver used a speaker to call bus stops while a lady dressed in uniform coordinated.
This makes the cost very affordable. I paid โฆ200. I was told that if I was to drop at a much further distance, I would still pay โฆ200. If I had a card however, it would be โฆ150.
A tricyclists told me today that although Alex Otti is doing well, one of their fears is that his buses which are beginning to penetrate many places may drive them out of business with much cheaper prices.
Aba is full of life. No dull moment. Light is taken for granted here.

Peter Obi flew into Haiti in 2010 - days after a devastating earthquake flattened the country with actor Bob Manuel.
He didnโt just drop off a cheque. He donated $200,000, then stayed on the ground as an aid workerโฆ with his son.
Was he campaigning to become President of Haiti?
No.
He was simply doing what some leaders only pretend to do when the cameras are rolling.

We will never ever forget our true heroes.
Your immeasurable sacrifice remains a landmark moment in our story.
Before the guns went off, we witnessed real selflessness and patriotism in moments when we abandoned our personal differences for one common goal.
I hope that we can find our way back there someday. ๐๐ฝ
