No she couldn’t. Do you know how much per hour it cost to run a yacht that size? It’s roughly$20-30,000 per hour. That’s $480-$640,000 per day. And if she enjoyed it going around traveling it would cost roughly 100MILLION dollars (conservatively) per YEAR. In crew, captain, fuel, morage, maintenance, expenses alone. Not including interest on the loan on 500M+ after her 300M down payment. I really don’t think you understand the landscape of costs here. Dolly is a saint and was very charitable. But there are roughly 10-15 people in the entire world rich enough to own a mega yacht of 800M+. And she isn’t remotely close to the net worth it would require to do so.

People with real money who are buying properties including mega yachts, do not want nor need to rent them out to support ownership. Dolly is extremely successful and saint of a human donating a ton of money to support her causes. But there are levels to the richness people have. 800M mega yacht is Russian oligarch level of rich. And no one is going on their boat. It’s not like a private plane. Renting the object is what people who bought something they couldn’t afford do.

They are paying a lot, I do this for a living, a lot of rich people think they can afford a yacht. It’s not only the cost of the yacht but it cost about $20,000 per hour to run it & if you enjoyed it all year it would cost you roughly 100M per year just to keep it maintained, pay the captain, the crew to run it, fuel, morege fees, etc. only the 5-10 richest people on each own or can afford to manage a yacht like this.
