Here's a list of my favorite VGC teams over the years, with notable events included (2025-2015)
I think it's crazy I've already played VGC for 10+ years. Cheers to the next ten :D

Confused on how Sucker Punch failed during this battle at the Indianapolis Regional Championships?
Sucker Punch CAN fail even if the target uses a damaging move. This interaction is a bit niche, but the wording in the move description makes all the difference! #PokemonChampions
@SkyeFallVGC@Azulite_poke@shadekirby321 I use a mobile browser called Yandex that is compatible with chrome extensions.
I had no issues using RK9 this way to submit my team. You should be able to follow Alex's instructions the same way you'd do it on PC.

@AzazeL_the_God I pick up plushies half of the time I go to a major, but that's only because everything is sold out on the Pokemon Center site 99% of the time.
I know a lot of people may disagree, but I think that open natures will be a positive change for VGC
Hidden information creates complexity at the cost of strategic ambiguity. In other words, I'd rather win games because I'm better and not because my opponent got caught off guard
๐จ Update to the @playpokemon VGC Tournament Handbook!
โถ๏ธ Natures (called Stat Alignments since #PokemonChampions) will now be standard in the contents of open team lists also in TPCi competitions!

The great thing about showdown ladder (and especially high ladder) is that you'll beat somebody once and they'll completely change their sets + spreads to tune for what you're running ๐๐๐
My favorite team from the S/V era by far was my Reg C stall team. Corrosion Glimmora dominated standard balance teams, and timer stall gave me win conditions in many sets that I otherwise wouldn't have won.
The runner-up favorite is my psyspam rain team from Regulation H.
Scarlet/Violet VGC was an awesome time to come back to the circuit. I took a big step back after 2019 and haven't competed as much since, but I think 2027 will be the season I return to the World Championships
I still have NAIC, so there's always a chance I make it this season๐ค

Regulation M-A has the opposite problem of the SV National Dex formats.
There aren't enough strong threats to choose from, and the lack of choice specs/choice band/life orb don't help either. That's why every team has the same pool of 10 mons + 1-2 megas.
Every SV Regulation besides A/B/C/H sucked because they revolved around the same miserable gameplay loops (Incin/Rilla/Ursh VS HO trying to beat that) + the restricteds only made it worse. The power level of things got too high.
Champions Regulation M-A is different. (1/2)
Every format is the worst format.
People dislike M-A for centralizing around AeroZard slop
People dislike Reg I for centralizing around CSR Zama
People dislike Reg F for centralizing around Bolt Balance
People dislike Reg G for the variety and non-centralized meta
Had a great weekend with my bro @JohnSelmer
This is his first major tournament where he finished with a better record than me! 5-1 to 5-3 was so close, but hopefully he can run it back at NAIC!
