@trikcode Made money no, saved money yes. Built a home brew ip camera system and connected app ecosystem. Saved me a ton of money buying piecemeal hardware and zero software.
After Pope Francis I now have the Catholicism of a Medieval sod farmer.
“Who’s the Pope?” “Don’t know. Don’t care.”
“Ya hear what the Pope said?” “Nope.”
“The Pope’s an idiot & a fraud.” “Take that back or I’ll whip your ass right here & now.”
“I’ll see you at Mass.” “Yep.”
I am proud to announce that my wife and I today, have done something no campaign has ever done.
We have consecrated this campaign to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ.
Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
@SyntheticBeef@the_TRE_Jackson@4nt1p4tt3rn You completely missed my point. There’s very real reasons for not wanting to abandon your hometown to just go buy something cheap that is completely lacking in “buy a starter house” discussion. Everyone is talking past each other and ignoring actual hardships of that advice.
@the_TRE_Jackson@4nt1p4tt3rn I moved 1000 miles away from from family to buy a house. When my wife had to be rushed into surgery because she was actively dying we felt it. I was looking after my shoulder have died wife, a two and a half year old and a 6 month old alone. Can’t imagine why more people don’t.
"200 bucks per second (of animation) and you wonder why everyone is abandoning 'artists' in favor of AI"
Hand drawn animation is 8-12 frames per second. Let's average it to 10. That's 20 bucks per drawing, in color, plus backgrounds, plus thumbnails, plus extra time if work needs to be redone or tweaked. Also complexity is exponential, so more characters per scene means more work per frame, x10 per second. If it takes more time than estimated, the artist doesn't earn get overtime. They lose money.
Imagine going to work this Tuesday and your boss says "You expect me to PAY you? I could just have a machine do your job." Would you still get up at 6am go to work? Do you have a job? Do you get paid? So do artists.
So, 200 bucks per second is more than fair. In fact, it's a steal. If you want quality, you have to buy it like everything else. If you want to pay nothing, all you get will be worthless slop.
The oldest Zoomers were 11 when Obama was elected in 2008. Millennials made up less than 15% of all voters in 2008 and about 1/5 in 2012. Yet they somehow they still get blamed for Obama.
Apparently these Zoomers (edit: and Millenials) have the memories of goldfish but some of us don't.
You don't like healthcare costs? Thanks Obamacare. That's right, us Gen X & Boomers told you that mandating abortion coverage for nuns, men and post menopausal women would raise prices through the roof. Making it illegal to not have insurance was a handout to insurance companies, who then raised prices? Shocking. You voted for it, you got it, and everyone is suffering.
Tuition is higher? Yeah that's what happens when colleges get federal student loan guarantees and have to hire more administration to cover all the DEI checkbox paperwork. Thanks, again, Obama.
Housing prices went up? What a shock that rent control in your bugman hives and NIMBY laws preventing more affordable housing prevented more supply from coming into existence. All high risk bank loans probably didn't help either.
Don't even get me started about the double whammy of Obama's cash for clunkers obliterating the used car market & emissions standards making it more profitable to make huge pickups than small ones. Every dude I know wants a Toyota Hilux, which can't be imported here.
I'm seeing a common theme here: more government involvement in a market makes it worse.
Zoomers and Millennials haven't grasped this because they are brain rotted by TikTok
@AngloChud2001 As a young millennial I, worked 60 hour weeks to afford school and a house, overtime as a first responder was pretty sweet. I want my kids to be able to afford a good life in this world without breaking themselves like I did. The “I suffered so you should too” is just so weird.
@maner_travis When I stopped eating like this and went on the Paul Salidino animal based diet, I had joint pain my doc said would be permanent disappear.
@4nt1p4tt3rn Walmart+ is $98 a year for free grocery delivery. I would hit that in gas by June if I’m driving to get them myself. And I get an extra 6-8 hours a month back to spend with the kids not grocery shopping.
@sarahadams@jasoninthehouse Starting salary for USSS is $20k less than a local beat cop in my rural area. Of course it’s gone downhill. The pay is awful.
@trashh_dev Bambu is super anti consumer. Go with an elegoo. The Centuri Carbon is the equivalent and you aren’t locked into the Bambu ecosystem. And their customer support is amazing.
