Modiehi Mongale Foundation and other inmates to legally challenge unfair
exclusions from the Special Remission.
Modiehi Mongale Foundation NPO demands an apology from the Department of Correctional Services for making two regrettable controversial statements regarding Thabo Bester.
On 3rd May 2022 Bester is dead, on the 25th March 2023 Bester is at large.

E.g., if donor’s taxable income per annum is R100 000 and had donated R10 000 to a PBO then donor qualifies for a tax deduction of R10 000 from their total taxable income. This means, donor would not have to pay tax on R100k (total taxable income for the year) but rather R90k
Donors can obtain a tax deduction (limited to 10% of their taxable income in a fiscal year) in respect of the total donations made to approved organisations such as our foundation. In order to do so the donation has to be supported by a receipt from our foundation.
