I was sat in front of Reform today.
One of their team was asked by the Chief Whip if they’d give up their seat for Nigel, which they agreed to.
But Nigel didn’t bother turning up….
Always the victim.
There are MPs that didn’t see him queueing for Prayers, MPs that say there was plenty of space in the chamber for Farage on the opposition benches.
Unfortunately this doesn’t fit Nigel’s agenda. He has to play the victim, he has to have a narrative “oh it’s an establishment stitch up” “the press have it out for me” “It was my teachers fault I failed my O Levels”
Everything Farage does, he blames other people, whether it’s undercover exposes - not his fault, his staffers fault, the failed reform budget press conference - again a staffers fault, not his,
The list goes on and on, but let’s make it clear, Farage has no respect for Parliament, because he can’t manipulate it.
Possibly the weakest excuse for not attending the budget I’ve ever heard.
Looks to me like there’s a space next to Carla Lockhart where Nigel Farage usually sits. Why didn’t Tice save him a seat?
Admittedly not as many free seats as at Reform’s budget launch, but still…
🇨🇺 Cuba's regime blames its problems on the U.S. embargo.
FACT-CHECK: The U.S. embargo does not force Cuba to deny free elections to its people for 67 years, arrest and brutalize activists for expressing criticism, or harass civilians in their own homes.

Melika Azizi, an 18-year-old Iranian protester, faces the death penalty after being arrested during nationwide anti-government demonstrations and accused of burning the Islamic Republic's flag.
Azizi was arrested on January 9, 2026, in Masal, Gilan province, northern Iran, before being transferred to Lakan Prison in Rasht.
She was accused of moharebeh, meaning “waging war against God.”
Azizi confronted the judge during her proceedings, declaring:
“You let so many young people bleed. How can I remain silent? I don't care. Just kill me.”
She was denied contact with her family and access to legal representation, while her relatives faced pressure from security authorities.
Brilliant Budget response speech by @KemiBadenoch. She really dominates the Commons now when she speaks.
Loved this line:
"The Prime Minister came in promising to reverse 40 years of neoliberalism. Instead, we got 4p off gherkins."
The electorate aren’t goldfish. Our memories are long enough to recall June 2024, when you declared that trans-identified men with penises should be able to use women’s public bathrooms. It took a Supreme Court ruling to force you to uphold women’s rights, and now you pose as our bold champion? Please.
"He's using our Brexit freedoms to take VAT off energy bills, he's used those Brexit freedoms just yesterday to scrap import taxes on hundreds of goods, what he should be saying is Thank You"
Kemi on fire again at PMQs, championing our Brexit freedoms.
Albanese: “My Financial Independence Is Like a 7-Year-Old Child”
Q: Can you update us on the sanctions against you?
Albanese: “It's heavy. It's very heavy. It's indecent. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the United Nations.”
“I mean, my case is clear but what about member states? There is a clear breach of the Convention, that gives the possibility to bring the United States before the International Court of Justice.”
“Now, in the face of something as serious, which is impacting me my personal assets, my ability to receive money. I have the financial independence of a 7-year-old, of a minor...”
“And in the face of all these, and the threats, and the smears, and all the restrictions I'm facing, no one single member state has had the courage to bring the United States before the International Court of Justice — and not that it is raised as a possibility by the UN leadership. This is where we are.”
