Simple hack for more #effective meeting outcomes that requires no study:
Look for #effective outcomes, not productivity.
An effective meeting is often:
• least words per minute
• single topic
• least amount of essential people
That's the opposite of most meetings.
Things I wish I knew before:
We're all part of many teams.
And the team only succeeds when the team is #effective.
So if I'm pulling for everyone else, or I'm not contributing at all:
the team can't succeed.
Which means I'm not #effective.
