I just want to CONGRATULATE YOU! You truly exemplify the old adage “ a rising tide raises all boats”, your endeavors have raised The boats of those who work for you or with you! It’s incredibly sad that there are so many who can’t see the fact that you, Elon Musk are the embodiment of the “American Dream”! I’m just sorry that I don’t have a boat in your orbit! Congrats, again! AWESOME, TOTALLY AWESOME!
I certainly understand your suffering, pain and the loss of your father! Maybe you hear that a lot since you are an actual celebrity and I am not…I’m the last one left from a family of 6 and I was the oldest of 4 children and supposedly the sick one with type 1 diabetes, go figure! My dad died from a blood clot after a routine procedure to check his heart, my younger sister diagnosed as bipolar in the early 90’s died of a drug overdose self medicating, my brother closest to me in age died in a head on collision with a car in 2010 while taking a turn on his motorcycle too wide and was killed instantly at the scene, my youngest brother and the one I was closest to was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in November of 2020 and my mother who struggled with the loss of 3 of her 4 children died from COVID-19 just 3 weeks after my brother and 4 days before Christmas in December of 2021. Btw, my brother who died from cancer was my living kidney donor on January 2, 2013 and a Catholic priest (the good and holy kind)…the only thing I have left are my beautiful memories of an awesome family and the perfect “holy” kidney my brother selflessly shared with me…and my wonderful husband of whom I am eternally grateful! I don’t know why I’m the only one left or why the last 5 years have been a trial by fire both mentally and physically but I do know this…God has my back and always has! I realize this all sounds like an overdramatized woe is me story but the devil is truly in the details and would give your real life drama a run for it’s money! Kat, You are not alone in your struggles and sometimes it helps to know others have walked a similar path and made it through to the other side none the worse for wear…the pain of loss gets somewhat easier but it never leaves, it just gets a little more muted as the years go by….and I know I don’t need to tell you to cherish every moment you have with the ones you love because life is notorious for changing quickly and unexpectedly and yes, despite all the twists and turns it’s still one hell of a ride and worth every minute! Believe me, you will get through it, a little stronger and a whole lot more resilient supported by a whole lot of prayers from people you don’t even know…like me!
@BTUPDATES10 A. From what I’ve been able to glean he has a very close relationship with his siblings as well. Maye has done an excellent job of raising her children alone. She should be an example to any mother trying to raise successful children in today’s crazy world…
Beautifully phrased! They are 3 American heroes amongst so many more that serve this nation selflessly. I hope we all realized and are reminded that there is far more that’s great about this country especially its people. Let’s say a prayer for these 3 heroes as well as the thousands and millions of Americans that love this nation and stand up for this country each and every day… time to end the division that blinds us of the good and focuses only on the negatives!
