Can a Security experts walk us through this sloooowly because I have remained quiet for years now, until I cannot anymore: who proposed this security requirement at the JKIA, where we must all alight from our cars/taxis or PSVs to pass through that small gate for the screening exercise that not only looks unnecessary but also unserious?

Nothing happens here and nobody checks you for shiet! You can actually pass through the screening belt carrying anything in your pockets or around your waist.
Like WTF! is that area for and why would passengers in private cars get off to go through that gate while cars still pass through that 16-lane mobile vehicle x-ray scanner?

Can we get an explanation as to why salaried Kenyans are compelled to contribute to the Housing Levy to construct houses on public land; land held in trust for all citizens , only to be required to purchase these same houses from intermediaries who profit from public contributions despite adding no value? What legal or policy justification exists for taxing citizens to build public housing, then selling those same houses back to them at a profit?

Why is there no clearly defined end date or sunset clause for the Housing Levy? At what point will the government declare that it has collected enough?

How much money has been collected so far, how much has been spent, and where is the independently audited, project-by-project account of those funds?

If workers are financing the construction, why are they not granted an equitable ownership interest or priority rights proportionate to their contributions?

Why should Kenyans continue making mandatory monthly contributions if there is no guarantee they will ever own one of the houses they are helping finance?

Why should citizens pay for houses built on public land while also bearing the cost of the land through their taxes?

How are the profits made by intermediaries justified where the land is public and the construction is financed through compulsory public contributions?

If the programme is intended to serve the public interest, why are all contracts, procurement decisions, and financial statements not published proactively for public scrutiny?

Most importantly, how does a compulsory levy that requires citizens to finance construction and then purchase the finished product satisfy the constitutional principles of transparency, accountability, equity, and prudent use of public resources?

Taxpayers deserve more than assurances. They deserve clear, evidence-based answers to these questions.

@polo_kimanii Same with having children. They are of no economic value. Between the age of -1 to 20, they just consume with no return, after age 20, they might still not be productive. It is like have a a business with 20 year ROI and not guaranteed.

The story of Albert Ojwang did not begin at Central Police Station.

There was an intergovernmental war inside the security sector, and a troll operation was reportedly hired to fight DIG Eliud Lagat.

The job is said to have come through Alvan Kinyua, who works with Mutahi Ngunyi, before it was handed to a man known as Czar Toretto.

Albert did not make the post that triggered the arrest. He only co-owned the account, while the post was published by a woman who also had access to it.

Even as Albert was arrested and transported to Nairobi, he did not know which post had put him in trouble.

There are also claims that Lagat insisted Albert be brought to Nairobi to “serve as an example.”

The court process will not be complete unless the people involved in that campaign explain what the war was about, who commissioned the attacks, who managed the accounts, who made the post and how Albert ended up carrying the consequences.

Alvan Kinyua, Czar Toretto and everyone connected to that operation must help Kenyans understand the full chain of events, because justice cannot begin at Central Police Station while ignoring the campaign that led Albert there.

@NelsonHavi The better presentation and analysis of the data would have been to show how many new cases (within the year) were resolved. You cannot compare a 10 year case and a new case.
