Listen, I got so many questions on this post about the mummification of Pharaoh. One question just kept coming up. People asked: But God said...
"So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless."
One thing I noticed looking at these replies is that these people have never really read the Tafseer of this verse. There was zero confusion about this among the early scholars. The whole confusion is a modern issue. And this is why it important that we look at where this myth started.
This entire misunderstanding blew up in 1976. The mummy of Ramesses II was decaying from a fungal infection. The Egyptian government sent the mummy to Paris for emergency treatment.
A French physician named Dr. Maurice Bucaille was part of the team allowed to examine the body. He took samples and found traces of salt on the mummy. He immediately pushed this as proof that the Pharaoh drowned in the sea.
A lot of Muslims got overly excited because a European doctor seemed to validate the Quran. They took the English translation of "preserve your body" and stretched it to mean a mummy in a Cairo museum today.
But his methodology was deeply flawed.
Let us look at the history of mummification. According to the Smithsonian Institution records on ancient Egyptian burial practices, embalmers used a naturally occurring salt mixture called natron.
Now, you might wonder if natron is just sea salt. It is not. Sea salt is sodium chloride. Natron is a completely different chemical. It is a mixture of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate. The ancient Egyptians mined natron from dry lake beds, not the ocean.
They packed dead bodies in this natron salt for over a month to dry out the flesh and stop it from rotting. Bucaille saw salt on the mummy and jumped to the conclusion that it was Red Sea water.
That is completely false. Finding natron on a mummy does not mean the person drowned in the ocean. It just proves the Egyptian embalmers did their normal job packing the body with drying salt.
One thing I also observed is that people claimed the Pharaoh of Musa was Ramesses II. This cannot be true. This is because the medical scans of the mummy show in the video lived into his 90s. He suffered from crippling arthritis, hardened arteries, and a very bad hunched back. His spine was severely fused.
And if you look at the Quranic account of Musa leading the Israelites out of Egypt, the Pharaoh personally led a massive army on a high speed chariot chase into a collapsing sea. A 90 year old man with a fused spine and severe arthritis could barely walk. He could never stand in a war chariot driving through rough terrain.
Also, historical records show Ramesses II died a normal death in his old age and received a standard royal burial in the Valley of the Kings.
In Islam, we don't falsehood to defend the truth. Even if you look at the book of Tafseer, there was never any confusion amongst the predecessors. Except you can bring one for me. I will be happy to see that.
The miracle was perfect the day it happened. Pharaoh claimed to be God, and Allah turned him into a bloated piece of flesh washing up at the feet of his former slaves to cure their trauma. That is the true sign the Almighty was talking about.
Allah knows best.
The reality and truth is that the mummy shown in the video is not the Pharaoh of Moses, and the idea that his body was preserved by a divine miracle to last until modern times is a complete internet myth.
Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen (Rahimahullah) thoroughly dismantled this claim. He explained that when Allah says in Surah Yunus (10:92) that He saved Pharaoh's body to be a sign for "those who succeed you," it referred strictly to the Bani Isra'il who were alive at that exact moment.
Pharaoh had terrorized them for so long, claiming to be a god, that when he drowned, they literally could not believe he was dead. Allah caused his physical corpse to float to the shore purely so his victims could see his lifeless body with their own eyes and find closure. Once that purpose was served, the natural elements took their course.
The mummy you see on display today belongs to Ramesses II, a real Egyptian king who died in his bed in his nineties from natural causes.
His preservation is not a Quranic miracle. Please donโt forget this. And donโt mislead people. His preservation is just the result of advanced ancient Egyptian chemical engineering and mummification using natron salt.
We do not need to rely on fabricated museum folklore to validate the truth of the Quran. The Pharaoh of Moses drowned in the Red Sea, his story ended right there, and his body served its purpose thousands of years ago.
Allah knows best.
I have said it countless times that there is nothing honorable about you. The day you decided you want to mock divine laws, God stripped you of your honor.
I am also very happy that you have no knowledge to fight us. None of you can stand us. Your usual tactics are abuse, defamation and curses. I am happy those are the signs of a dying snake. We are more than that.
Now, let me teach you what you and many ignoramuses like you do not know.
I cannot imagine you base your entire understanding of Islam on the wardrobe of a Saudi princess. This exposes how terribly shallow your reasoning goes.
Saudi Arabia might be the geographical birthplace of Islam, but the Saudi royal family is not the Quran. They are not the Prophet. They are ordinary human beings who can choose to disobey their Creator just like you.
Islam is built on divine texts, not the lifestyle of wealthy Arabs. If an Arab princess decides to abandon the veil for worldly fashion, it does not rewrite the laws of God. It only means she will answer for her own choices. The standard of Islam is not a Saudi passport or a royal bloodline. The standard is the clear command of the Almighty.
You called the Nigerian women in Niqab gullible and mentally unstable. You claim they mixed religion with madness. The truth is that these women are highly intelligent and dignified.
They refuse to seek validation from a society that only respects women when they expose themselves for public consumption. You measure sanity by how much a woman conforms to western beauty standards. We measure it by submission to the Almighty.
Next time you want to talk about religion, bring intellectual points from the scriptures. Stop using the personal choices of royals to validate your ignorance and deep rooted prejudice.
HADITH NO: 1/430 UMDATUL AHKAM
(CHAPTER ONE: THE BOOK OF PURITY) ๐งต
Alhamdulillah. All praise belongs to Allah. We praise Him, we ask for His help, and we seek His forgiveness.
I welcome you all to this gathering.
Tonight we begin a profound journey through Umdatul Ahkam. We are starting at the very foundation with Hadith Number 1 in Chapter One, the Book of Purity.
Before the classical scholars teach us the fiqh of water, how to make wudu, or how to purify our limbs, they compel us to look inward. They require us to examine the state of our hearts. We must establish a solid spiritual architecture for this entire journey before we take a single step forward into jurisprudence.
Let us read the foundational text along with its variant narration, and then look at the translation:
On the authority of the Commander of the Faithful, Abu Hafs Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Actions are tied to intentions, and every person will have only what they intended. So whoever's migration was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger. And whoever's migration was for a worldly matter to attain it, or a woman to marry, his migration is to what he migrated to." And in a variant narration: "by intention" (in the singular).

In sha Allah, when you quote the Hadith, I will explain it. I have the Sharh in my library here.
It will be an interesting 430 nights.
Letโs get it started ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ
There is no ethnic group in the whole world that gives birth to millions of children & abandon them in the streets the way Hausa people do. We have the worst number of child neglect in the world despite being so called โReligious Muslimsโ.

See you all at 5PM on the stream! ๐ฅ๐๐ฝ
Davido gave away 100million from his hard earned career money. Meanwhile Northern politicians loot billions from the comfort of their beds and give useless Northern celebrities 200k to promote them while their region keeps sinking.
Arewa has no media is such a funny way to mask up the stupid misplaced priorities of your people. When Bello Matawalleโs son inlaw cheated, you people had enough voices to make it trend in every corner of the internet for days. But Matawalle as minister of defense has never trended on Arewa media for his failure to tackle the constant daily killings of Northerners under his leadership. Even the top voices in Arewa have turned to slaves to the very politicians that failed to protect the North. Arewaโs problem is stupid misplaced priorities centered around marriage, relationship gossips and political almajiri pandemic not lack of media.

I understand the outrage but please letโs be mindful of what this is slowly turning into. Letโs not incite tribal violence against one another.
Base on my knowledge about grave ๐ชฆ
Generally, in Islam, burial grounds are meant to reflect equality in death. Rich or poor, famous or unknown; everyone returns to Allah the same way.
So ideally, there is no โVIP sectionโ in a Muslim cemetery in the spiritual sense.
However, in reality, some Muslim burial grounds may have:
1. Family sections
2. Reserved plots
3. Private cemetery areas
4. Areas maintained differently due to donations or status
But Islamically, superiority is not in the location of the grave or how expensive the burial is.
Prophet Muhammad sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam encouraged simplicity in burial, because death is the greatest reminder that status, wealth, and influence all end.
As they say:
The grave has no VIP lounge.
Allahu Aalam
He didn't betray his faith by saying "waLlahi" in that situation, he simply followed the teaching of his faith. That's the application of what you all call Taqiyyah, a system that was called to action and should be called to action only when lives are at stake or when the security of lives depends solely on it. All that he did for you and others was entirely Islam, through and through.
What the murderers were doing was Satanism, the evil that Islam consistently warns against.
This school doesnโt even look like the kind of primary schools weโre used to seeing in Nigeria. These are standards we barely see here, yet he brought it home and funded everything entirely from his own pocket.
I remember him showing me the progress videos on his phone and I was genuinely amazed, but I still didnโt expect it to turn out this beautiful. Then again, knowing Dan Bello, I knew anything he puts his hands into would definitely be exceptional.
This is truly inspiring and I pray Allah continues to bless him with the strength, resources and ability to do even more. Rewards like this go beyond this world. May Allah reward him abundantly.
1. If you do not observe your five daily solat at all, you are no longer a Muslim.
2. After the Qalimatus shaโadah, there is no pillars of Islam that is superior to the five daily solat.
3. The first thing youโll be questioned about after your death is your five daily solat.
4. No matter how terrible your sickness is, as long as youโre conscious, five daily solat is a must for you, even if youโll observe it lying down.
5. The Prophet ๏ทบ said that missing โAsr prayer is like losing oneโs family and wealth (reported in Sahih al-Bukhari).
6. The day Umar Bin Kataab was killed, he was stabbed while observing the first rakah of solatu subhi, he was unconscious for more than 9 hours, when he later gained is consciousness, the first question he asked was โDid people complete their solat after I was stabbedโ and from extreme bleeding and pain, he also observed the remaining one rakah he missed.
Whatโs the essence of all of these?
Take care of your five daily solat, itโs the main reason youโre a Muslim.
You are doing well without a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce or Mercedes. Donโt let social media deceive you. So many are on the hospital beds wishing to have your health right now. So many woke up today without even breakfast. Some did not even wake up. You are alive, healthy & hustling in a difficult economy.
Comparison is the thief of joy.
Celebrate yourself, appreciate your life & keep hustling and praying for grace.
Your time will come!!!
