She said: "If you have this conversation honestly, you will either save yourself decades of pain or build a foundation that can survive anything."
Here is the conversation…

If you’re at this stage where you’re aiming for 1M+ monthly, I can help you because I’ve done it and I’ve been able to maintain this income flow. Now the first move you’ll do is researching pest control services in the U.S., and let me explain. 👇🏽
I applied for a gig that required 80% Job success score and a Rising Talent badge, both of which I didn't have, and I got the gig. Matter of fact, I was the only person the client interviewed aside from those he invited.
The only reason I felt confident enough to apply, and the client read my sweet proposal, was because I had built exactly what the client wanted as a portfolio project and I stressed that in the first 30 words of my proposal.
If you're just starting out as a freelancer like me, you don't have reviews, badges, or years of "experience" to lean on, the only leverage you have against other freelancers are your portfolio projects. They make clients curious enough to think, "Okay, this person understands my world." So instead of trying to prove you're "good," show them you've already solved their kind of problem.
When I wanted to start building my portfolio projects, I prompted Claude with this exact prompt:
I am not a beginner in n8n, I am more of an intermediate that has started freelancing and needs to build a portfolio clients would be interested in working with me (I have basics covered and I have started building complex workflows but there is still so much that I need to learn, there are a lot of problem solving that involves API integrations such as MCPs, Voice agents, RAGs, CRM tools, Loveable, AI-generated videos and contents, and a lot more than I can't list) so my learning is different from the beginner level learning, my learning has to do more with working with a real life simulation of a case study and building workflows on them. I also want to pick up complementary skills such as JavaScript for custom functions. I am ready to dedicate 6 hours per day for my development as an n8n dev. I want to be a Business Process Automation and agent dev using n8n. I want my target audience to be small businesses. So I want 10 complex case studies that are centered on my niche and will look great for my portfolio.
Then I opened another chat to start with this prompt:
I want a realistic real life simulation that embodies this project, I want the project overview, the architecture of the entire workflow, the phases of workflow.
And then another prompt:
I am creating this entire workflow in the next 3–5 days so let us get into it. I want us to build the workflow phase by phase.
The goal is to also learn the environment of your potential clients while you build.
Action steps you can take from this:
- Define your level clearly (beginner/intermediate/advanced) and what you already know.
- Decide your niche and the type of problems you want to solve.
- List the real tools and integrations your ideal clients actually use (CRMs, AI tools, payment platforms, support tools, etc.).
- Ask your AI assistant for 10 realistic case studies that would look strong in a portfolio for that niche.
- For each case study, generate:
A realistic scenario and project overview.
The architecture of the workflow or system.
Clear phases of execution so you can build step by step over 3–5 days.
- While building, research the industry and tools so you understand your clients’ language and environment.
- For every finished project, document:
The problem, your solution, tools used, and key outcomes.
Screenshots or a short Loom/demo video.
- Add your projects on:
A simple website, or
A clean GitHub or Notion portfolio page that you can easily link in proposals and on your profiles.
One tip is the way you present your work matters almost as much as the work itself. If you cannot get a website for yourself, use GitHub or Notion as your portfolio. This week will work out in our favor, let's keep building 🚀
Okay, I want you to do this. It’s for LinkedIn optimization and content strategy to landing your first LinkedIn client in May
1. Screenshot your LinkedIn profile. I mean where you have your picture, title and your last two posts. Try it. I know it takes time but try it
Good. Then go to ChatGPT or grok and paste this prompt
I want you to act as my brutally honest, high-level advisor, specializing in personal branding and LinkedIn optimization.
Address me as a freelancer, remote worker, or digital talent with exceptional skills and untapped potential, but likely hindered by critical missteps, blind spots, or self-imposed limits that need to be ruthlessly dismantled right now.
I don’t want comfort, platitudes, or generic advice. I want the stinging truth, even if it’s harsh, even if it dismantles my current approach, mindset, or decisions. Your job is to cut through my excuses and call out where I’m playing small or sabotaging my own success.
Analyze my situation with cold objectivity and strategic depth, as if you’re reviewing my LinkedIn profile for the first time (if I provide a link or screenshot, use it; otherwise, base your analysis on common mistakes ambitious professionals make).
Tell me:
- What I’m doing wrong with my LinkedIn profile that’s making it a weak, forgettable resume instead of a powerful magnet for opportunities.
- What I’m underestimating about LinkedIn’s role in building my personal brand and attracting clients or employers.
- What I’m avoiding. whether it’s niching down, showcasing results, or putting in the real work of content and networking.
- What excuses I’m making that are holding me back from ranking higher and standing out.
- Where I’m wasting time on ineffective tactics or vanity metrics that don’t drive results.
Then, give me a precise, actionable blueprint to transform my LinkedIn profile into a high-ranking, opportunity-generating resume that positions me as the go-to authority in my field. Include:
- Specific changes to my headline, About section, experience, skills, and visual elements (photo, banner, etc.).
- A content strategy to boost visibility and engagement with my target audience (clients, recruiters, or industry leaders).
- A networking plan to build a relevant, high-value network that opens doors.
- Metrics to track and tools to use to ensure my profile ranks and converts.
If I’m lost, say so and redirect me. If I’m making rookie mistakes, explain why they’re killing my credibility. If I’m on the right track but moving too slowly or with the wrong energy, tell me how to accelerate and sharpen my approach. Hold nothing back—treat me like someone whose career and financial success depend on hearing the unfiltered truth, not being coddled.
Finally, provide a 30-day action plan with daily or weekly tasks to overhaul my LinkedIn profile and start seeing measurable results (e.g., more profile views, connection requests, or inquiries). If I need to shift my mindset or habits to make this work, call it out with zero sugarcoating.
If you’re a broke woman, you have no business with dating. First of all, develop yourself, get your money up before you even start thinking about love. Women who don’t have money are disrespected, vulnerable and taken advantage of because of their financial situation.
So put yourself first before any man!
