Google didn't get to this state all of a sudden. This took more than a decade and Google had the right idea just didn't execute it

@othman Google keeps focusing on things that work well with the rest of Google (Workspace, GCP ...etc). G+ tried to do the same and we know how that turned out.

There are very strong b2b opportunities that Google can set the terms. For consumer, it's a lot harder in the current PA setup

I hope it gives you some hope. I pray it helps you be in the moment, have gratitude and smile. The here and now now is ephemeral, but beautiful, in it’s own way. Too often cynicism and negativity wins out in our thoughts. Do whatever you’re able to. Work with excellence. Even through the dark times, do the hard work. Humanity is worth it. I don’t know how, but it’ll be okay.

It’s not perfect, but this put a smile on my face. If you’re a techie, in AI or whatever it is that you do. This inspires us to do the work with excellence and to know that the work will benefit humanity, in some way, however small, it’s worth it. 🙂

Last week we had the crucial @UNECE FRAV & VMAD meetings in Tokyo finalising our guideline document for #AutomatedDriving pre-regulation. Lots of intense discussions & hard work (over 150,000 hours) have gone into getting us here. Huge thank you to our chairs & all the experts on this journey. But work is not yet done. We are just moving into the crucial regulatory phase & continued collaboration will remain key to our success... 🙏

And nothing will ever beat Japanese🇯🇵 hospitality. Thank you to our hosts for the great organisation & the warmth in welcoming us...
