I'd criticise Messi too if he acted like this. Being a fan doesn't mean I have to defend everything my player does. The difference is, this isn't about football ability or who is better. Ronaldo was benched, Portugal won, and he walked down the tunnel instead of joining his teammates to thank the travelling fans. That's poor leadership, regardless of who's wearing the armband. Being the star doesn't make you bigger than the team.
@Supheey Ai har yau zaka ga typical dan arewa bamu san ciwon kan mu ba. Abun da ya kamata a ce mun nuna damuwar mu akai wlhy ba shi muke sawa a gaba ba. Abun ban takaici. Misplaced priorities!
@TouchlineX@marca And now he's left the Portugal camp after the coach's press conference. At 41, this is becoming less about playing time and more about the inability to accept not being the centre of attention. Portugal is a team, not Ronaldo's personal project.😭
Whether it’s in Palestine. Sudan. Congo. Nigeria or Venezuela or Yemen. We are all confronted by the same enemy. No matter who you are or where you are, we are all victims of western imperialism.
They need to scrap this total package nonsense in all the states in Nigeria. Extra 400K for a rent that is already 800K is insane. Everyone involved is a thief.
In Nigeria, petrol has risen from about ₦238/litre in May 2023 to ₦1,596 in May 2026, a 570% increase.
Nigeria's minimum wage is ₦70k a month. At the UK's current minimum wage of £12.71/hour, a UK worker earns the naira equivalent of Nigeria's entire monthly minimum wage in roughly 3 hours.
So saying “we are doing very well here” simply because petrol is cheaper completely misses the reality Nigerians are living through. A cheaper litre of petrol does not mean Nigerians are better off when our purchasing power is so much weaker. That is not “doing very well”, that is comparing prices while ignoring the people paying them.
