Sheikh Bashir bin Ahmed Siddiq, one of the senior teachers of the Holy Qur’an and its recitations at Al-Masjid An-Nabawi passed away today

Sheikh Bashir dedicated nearly six decades of his life to serving the Qur’an in the Prophet’s Mosque, where countless students studied under him. Among his most distinguished students were:
•Sheikh Muhammad Ayyoub & Sheikh Ali Jaber – former Imams of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah have mercy upon them
•Sheikh Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Al-Shanqiti, Member of the Council of Senior Scholars
•Sheikh Abdul Muhsin Al-Qasim & Sheikh Salah Al-Budair, current Imams of Al-Masjid An-Nabawi

The late Sheikh was regarded as a cornerstone in Qur’anic education at the Prophet’s Mosque, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge and students who continue to serve the Qur’an across the Muslim world.

May Allah the Almighty grant Sheikh Bashir bin Ahmed Siddiq His mercy, accept his decades of service to the Holy Qur’an, and elevate his rank among the righteous.
