National clusters and @OCHASom delegation came to capital city today where they had a meeting with Gamudug authorities and humanitarian partners working Galmudug. Meeting was held @MohadmGSS conference hall. Agenda included Drought & Floods update, Displacements, SHF allocations

more than 10K HHs displaced from the districts of Elder, Galcad, & Harardhere while more 10k HHs affected the ongoing operations & this people need urgent humanitarian interventions
The distircts are already mobilising food & Water packages to the newly liberated districts

High level Humanitarian Coordination meeting on Newly Liberated districts in Galmudug held at PCQ Hotel dhusamreb, fasilitated by @GalmudugState_ & organised by @MohadmGSS meeting participants include all Social services ministries, UN Agencies, INGOs, & LNGOs.

The main objective of the meeting was to prepare emergeny & integrated humanitarian response for the newly liberated areas to support the communities and also to make advocacy for the affected population as they face the impact of both conflict & pronlonged drought

More than 1000HHs provided food assistance donated by @KSRelief_EN via @tadaamun at Galkacyo & wisil districts
@MohadmGSS coordinated this food aid as part of the efforts to reduce the impact of prolonged drought in the state. We acknolwledge @KSRelief foundation

Meeting between Galmudug president, spicial envoy for Droughts in Somalia & Minster of Humanitarian Affairs & DM Abdirahman Makawi took place at Galmudug State House which discussed current drought situation.
The sides agreed that the situation is much worse then expected.
