Cooperation 17 has released the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Public Awareness Q&A Compendium in both Hindi and English for wider public awareness.

The compendium explains cooperative law, cooperative societies, members’ rights and responsibilities, records, meetings, elections, audit, inquiry, banking, transparency and good governance in a simple question-answer format.

For the convenience of farmers and rural readers, some English technical terms used in the earlier Hindi draft have now been replaced with suitable Hindi words, while necessary technical expressions have been retained wherever required.

एशिया की सबसे लंबी सुरंग 'जोजिला टनल' परियोजना आज एक ऐतिहासिक क्षण की साक्षी बनी है। जोजिला के मुख्य सुरं��� में आज जम्मू और कश्मीर केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के उपराज्यपाल श्री @manojsinha_ जी, मुख्यमंत्री श्री @OmarAbdullah जी, सांसद गण, लोक प्रतिनिधि तथा अधिकारी और उपस्थित गणमान्य के साथ ऐतिहासिक ब्रेकथ्रू का साक्षी बना। मुख्य सुरंग में यह ब्रेकथ्रू केवल निर्माण कार्य की प्रगति नहीं, बल्कि भारत की तकनीकी दक्षता, इंजीनियरिंग क्षमता और अदम्य संकल्प का प्रतीक है।

जोजिला टनल परियोजना जम्मू- कश्मीर और लदाख के बीच ऑल-वेदर कनेक्टिविटी का और इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर विकास यात्रा का महत्वपूर्ण अध���याय बनकर उभर रही है। राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-1 पर बालटाल से मीनामार्ग तक निर्मित की जा रही लगभग 14 किमी लंबाई की द्विदिशीय जोजिला टनल 6,800 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से विकसित हो रही भारत की सबसे महत्वाकांक्षी पर्वतीय अवसंरचना परियोजनाओं में से एक है। 2900 मीटर से 3310 मीटर की उँचाई के बीच निर्मित यह परियोजना विश्व के सबसे चुनौतीपूर्ण भूभागों में भारतीय इंजीनियरिंग क्षमता का अद्भुत उदाहरण प्रस्तुत कर रही है।

अत्यधिक हिमपात, कठिन मौसम और जटिल भूगर्भ परिस्थितियों के बावजूद भारत के इंजीनियरों और श्रमिकों ने इस चुनौतीपूर्ण कार्य को वास्तविकता में बदल दिया है। इस परियोजना से जुड़े सभी इंजीनियरों, श्रमिकों, कन्सल्टंट्स, कॉन्ट्रॅक्टर्स, संपूर्ण एनएचआईडीसीएल टीम और स्टेकहोल्डर्स को ��धाई और उनका अभिनंदन!

सुरंग में यात्रियों की सुविधा और सुरक्षा के लिए आधुनिक वेंटिलेशन सिस्टम, ऑटोमैटिक फ़ायर डिटेक्शन, एडवांस्ड CCTV सर्विलांस सिस्टम, पैदल यात्रियों के लिए क्रॉस पैसेज सुविधा उपलब्ध होगी। साथ ही स्नो लोड और जियोलॉजिकल खतरों से सुरक्षा के लिए 8 कट-एंड-कवर सेक्शन, 4 पुल, 40 पुलिया, स्नो गैलरी, कैच डैम और एवलॉन्च प्रोटेक्शन स्ट्रक्चर, हिम स्खलन सुरक्षा संरचनाएँ, संपर्क मार्ग और अ���्याधुनिक सुरक्षा व्यवस्थाएं इसे विश्वस्तरीय इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर का स्वरूप प्रदान करती है।

जोजिला टनल केवल एक सुरंग नहीं, बल्कि विकास का एक द्वार है। इस सुरंग के निर्माण के बाद सोनमर्ग से मिनामार्ग तक की लगभग 2 घंटे की यात्रा घटकर मात्र 30 मिनट रह जाएगी। इससे समय और ईंधन की बचत होगी। दुर्घटनाएं ��वं हिम स्खलन की जोखिम में कमी आएगी। क्षेत्र में पर्यटन और व्यापार को नई गति मिलेगी तथा सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों तक पहुंच और अधिक सुदृढ़ होगी। राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से भी यह परियोजना गेम चेंजर साबित होगी। वर्ष भर संपर्क उपलब्ध होने से भारतीय सेना की आवाजाही तथा सेना सामग्री, उपकरणों और रसद की आपूर्ति अधिक तेज, सुरक्षित और प्रभावी बन सकेगी, जिससे देश की सामरिक तैयारियों को नई मजबूती मिलेग���। यह परियोजना स्थानीय लोगों के लिए रोजगार, आर्थिक अवसर और बेहतर जीवन गुणवत्ता का आधार भी बनेगी। साथ ही यह परियोजना ऑल-वेदर कनेक्टिविटी स्थापित कर क्षेत्रीय विकास और राष्ट्रीय एकीकरण को नई शक्ति प्रदान करेगी।

In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police busts a cross-border illegal arms, drug and hawala network, apprehends four accused and two juveniles, and recovers 1.035 kg heroin, 5 sophisticated pistols, 2 live cartridges, and ₹5 lakh drug money.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused, in connivance with foreign-based associates, were allegedly procuring consignments of illegal arms and narcotics through social media platforms and distributing them on the directions of their overseas handlers. One of the arrested accused is an Afghan national.

FIR has been registered at PS Cantonment, #Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to establish backward and forward linkages, identify other associates involved in the network, and ascertain further recoveries.
