There's absolutely no way the youth will thrive in politics if people like exist in the system. Aren't you ashamed of what you are saying? Why don't you forfeit your senate ticket to the youth? You can't deceive us Mai gashi. Za muyi maka aski 2027 in sha Allah.
Why are the youths not contributing money to buy forms for the members of their generation to contest elections, but prefer to buy forms for the political elites โthat failed their generationโ.Why not transform their Social Media energy to Political Energy. Why are they not taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN ACT?
@ShehuSani Just be bold and say the present and past administrations failed to fix the epileptic power after billions siphoned from the national treasury.
You don't need to celebrate any birthday when Nigerians are severe pain. High rate of inflation, insecurity all over the country, epileptic power supply, poverty, unemployment etc. fix our country first. We don't need to know your birthday, when Nigerians are being killed daily.
My dear fellow Nigerians,
Today, as I clock another year in the journey of life, I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity given me to serve this great nation. I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration.
To those who have taken space in newspapers or paid for air time on radio and television to wish me well, I thank you immensely.
I must thank my wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I also thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for all he said about me.
Consistent with my tradition over the years to mark my birthday in line with the mood of the nation each year, I resolved to also observe this year's birthday low key.
As I mark this special day, I am reminded of the challenges we've faced since we initiated our reforms. I'm glad that our sacrifices have not been in vain as we can see some glittering light at the end of the tunnel, despite the temporary setback caused by ongoing Middle East crisis.
The credit for the positive outcomes we have achieved does not belong solely to me, our Renewed Hope team and to our government. We achieved the gains together.
As we march towards the third anniversary of our administration, it is my deepest conviction that we shall succeed in building a brighter future for our citizens and future generations.
We are determined to confront some of the challenges we face today, and with your continued support, we shall overcome.
Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, prosperous and more resilient nation that will make Nigeria the pride of Africa.
Thank you all, and happy 74th birthday to me!
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Before You Feel Sorry For Nasir el-Rufai
Look at the attached photo very carefully. It is unedited. In case the notoriously short-memory Nigerian public has forgotten, this is what Nasir el-Rufai did to Sheikh Ibrahim el-Zakzaky when he was Governor of Kaduna State for eight unfortunate years between 2015 and 2023.
In addition to reducing Sheikh Zakzaky to such a barbaric and pathetic state, 347 Shia Muslim men, women, children, and infants were massacred under Nasir el-Rufai.
That was the official figure. The unofficial figure put the death toll at about a thousand!
Under Nasir el-Rufai, his critic, Abubakar Idris, was snatched from his house before Salatul Jumu'ah prayers on Friday, August 2, 2019, never to be seen again to this day. He is believed dead!
Dadiyata, as Abubakar Idris is (or was) fondly called, left behind at home a wife, Khadija Ahmad Lame, and two young daughters, Hanifa and Fatima, who have been living in trauma since his 2019 abduction under the el-Rufai despotic regime.
Nasir el-Rufai arrested multiple journalists and activists for covering him negatively, including:
Jacob Onjewu Dickson
Segun Onibiyoย
Midat Joseph
Audu Maikori
Audu Maikori had to escape Nigeria for the United States, where I met him, interviewed him, and shuddered in terror at what Nasir el-Rufai did to him.
After Nasir el-Rufai was criticised by the Peoples Democratic Party in Kaduna, he demolished a house linked to the official who criticised him on claims that the house hosted a "sex party". I interviewed the owner, Aisha Mercy Yakubu, and she said nothing of such occurring. She was just a victim of Nasir el-Rufai's vendetta!
Nasir el-Rufai also demolished the home of his major critic, Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, the leader of a faction of the Kaduna State All Progressives Congress opposed to him.
To further disgrace Senator Hunkuyi, the house was demolished at 2 a.m.
Nasir el-Rufai also demolished the house of another critic, Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir, then the APC National Vice Chairman (North West), who was strongly critical of el-Rufai and opposed his re-election.
This is a man who boasted of paying killer herdsmen. The ordeal of the harrowing experiences of Southern Kaduna Christians under this butcher is another cautionary tale.
His hatred for Christians and Christianity is encapsulated in his boast that:
'Even if Pope is my running mate, Christians wonโt vote for me.'
So, please, Nasir el-Rufai should stop all this grandstanding and falsely accusing the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, of his present condition.
The truth is that Nasir el-Rufai is fingered in the alleged theft of โฆ423 billion during his tenure by no less a body than the Kaduna State House of Assembly. He is not above the law or above arrest.
He should not resist legal arrest or try to blame others for his alleged crimes. It is doubtful that any Governor in the history of Nigeria has arrested more of their critics than Nasir el-Rufai.
And because he did it, his guilty conscience makes him think that everybody is like him.
No, Nasir, you are not being persecuted. You are being prosecuted!

Today, I met with the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq @RealAARahman, to be debriefed on the incident in Kaiama LGA.
I condemn in the strongest terms this cowardly and beastly attack. The gunmen are heartless for choosing soft targets in their doomed campaign of terror. Their actions offend our humanity, our faith, and our shared values as a nation.
Yesterday, I directed the immediate deployment of an army battalion to Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State following the horrific attack on innocent villagers in Worro. This new military command will spearhead Operation Savannah Shield to checkmate these barbaric terrorists and protect defenceless communities.
It is particularly disturbing that the victims were killed because they rejected an attempt at forced indoctrination. As I said, โIt is commendable that the community members, even though Muslims, refused to be conscripted into a weird belief that promoted violence over peace and dialogue.โ Nigeria will never surrender its people to extremism and terrorism masquerading as faith.
I have further directed close collaboration between federal and state agencies to provide immediate support and relief to the affected community and to ensure that those responsible for this atrocity are pursued and brought to justice, just like other terrorists before them. They will not go scot-free.
I pray for the repose of the souls of the departed and extend my deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones. I also sympathise with the people and government of Kwara State. The Federal Government stands with you. We will protect our communities, defend our values, and defeat those who seek to divide us through terror.

President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces

So Muslims are now addressed as innocent Nigerians ๐ค but when Christians are killed you will say Islamists terrorists killed "Christians" hypocrisy will kill you!
The massacre of over 160 innocent Nigerians in Kaiama LGA Kwara state is shocking and condemnable. My heart goes out to Governor Rahman Abdul Razaq and the people of Kwara. I am fully aware of the efforts that they are making in the state to curb this terrible menace and it is unfortunate that some internal collaborators are assisting these murderers and are playing politics with the whole situation in an attempt to discredit and rubbish the efforts of both the state and Federal Government. I thank @officialABAT for ordering the swift deployment of troops to the area and I urge the FG to establish a permanent base for the military in that part of the state. It is clear that those behind these acts of barbarism and genocide are targetting both Christians and Muslims and this is unacceptable. The killers were not men of any faith but are simply bloodthirsty barbarians from a foreign land. This is an attack on our fatherland and our people and we must all rise up, join our hands together, support both the state and Federal Government and collectively resist it. May the souls of those that were brutally murdered rest in peace. ๐๐
How they report christian killings vs how they report when muslims are killed.
The Kwara killings donโt fit the genocide propaganda so they removed the victimsโ religion from the headline.
Never stop exposing their hypocrisy.
Brigadier General Muhammed Uba, Commander of the Nigerian Armyโs 25 Task Force Brigade in Damboa, Borno State, was ambushed and captured by Terrorists on 15 November 2025.
The ambush happened near Wajiroko village while his patrol convoy was returning from an operation along the Sambisa Forest axis.
Terrorists overwhelmed the convoy, killed at least two soldiers and two CJTF members, wounded others, and pursued the general after he became separated from the main force.
Terrorists has since released a photo showing the wounded general in captivity and claimed they later executed him.
The Nigerian Army initially denied any abduction, saying the commander had returned safely, but mounting evidence now confirms he was indeed captured and is most likely dead.
This is the first time in the 15-year insurgency that terrorists has captured (and reportedly killed) a serving Nigerian brigadier general on the battlefield, a major propaganda and morale blow to the Nigerian military.
Dear @realDonaldTrump how far? If youโre busy, you can give Bibi the assignment. He will deliver like the Hebrew women.๐๐๐
There was internet glitch yesterday. I just checked again and found that I've been shortlisted for the next phase. May we be among the successful candidates.
@ShehuSani No wonder you're still ranting! It's because your name doesn't appear in list of Ambassadors. You better keep mute so they can reconsider and send you to Sudan ๐ธ๐ฉ Atleast you mediate between the Government of Sudan and the RSF๐๐ ๐คฃ๐
This propaganda against Muslims has reached an alarming and disturbing level. They now shamelessly use images of massacred Muslim victims to falsely portray them as Christians killed by Muslims. What kind of injustice is that? How low must one go to twist the truth and exploit the pain of innocent victims to push such a dangerous and divisive narrative?
This deliberate attack on truth must be called out and condemned by all people of conscience.
