@chiragbarjatya I think i have seen this same guy so many times near Reliance mart, EON IT park asking for donations. Surprisingly so many educated IT folks fall for it and "donate". 🤦♂️
Kharadi Pune, some people are roaming in fake police uniforms and asking for donations in the name of army. Please don’t donate anything to such random people. It’s a known scam in Pune.
According to people in power, be it bureaucracy or politicians, the final blame is in the people. According to them, people should work, earn their livelihood, pay taxes, abide by the law, vote for the right people, and also fight for roads, trees, and practically everything.
1. Buy a house - use your wisdom and judgment bcos the authorities approve them blindly without checking water, road or lake bed.
2. Buy a car and pay tax but don't expect good roads
3. Put your kid in school but use your due diligence bcos the education dept doesn't know what's happening
4. Pay taxes, but buy your own health insurance bcos the govt can't maintain good hospitals
5. Finally the govt can't protect your from anybody or anything despite the police and army.
If everything boils down to individual effort, what are the govt and it's officers for? #bureaucracy
@PuneCityTraffic Again reiterating this order just on paper no construction material trucks allowed till 10 pm but this is on mundhwa chowk time : 9 pm. Every day same situation @PuneCityPolice
@PuneCityTraffic Why construction trucks moving in restricted hours that also without number plate in front of traffic cop... time : 6PM
Location: Mundhwa bridge
@PuneCityPolice@PuneCityTraffic
A truck overloaded with heavy stones is a disaster waiting to happen. Just one loose stone can take a life, shatter a family, and yet, authorities remain blind until tragedy strikes. When will safety take priority over negligence? @PuneCityTraffic@punekarnews@nachiket1982
The first thought that comes to mind is ; we have been saying the same thing, though maybe not as poetically as “soul drowning in potholes, filth, and traffic chaos.”
We, too, have been urging Punekars to wake up, demand better, and actively contribute to building a world-class city.
It’s fair to say that we both want the same things. The difference is, Dr. Mehta, you have the ear of the Pune admin & local leadership. You have the influence to drive real change.
Because when we, the citizens, ask for the same things, our voices are labeled as activists and dismissed.
@daksinapathpati For last 10 years. And he is supposed to be the best minister. Imagine the situation in other departments. If you dont check, it would look like, opposition made this comment.
