Advisory for @DelhiPolice today:
If you’re doing your duty, wear your name plate and own your actions.
If you believe vote chori is unjust, let citizens raise their voices peacefully without being silenced, detained or intimidated.
This is why I still don’t trust The Indian Express, even after the Ritika Chopra story. That was a commendable investigation, no doubt.
Look at today’s front page and you will understand the problem.
Yesterday’s peaceful protest in Delhi saw police dragging protesters, including women. A policeman was even seen slapping a Gen Z protester. That should have been the big front-page story.
Instead, the headline gives CJP prominence and the police action gets pushed into the background. The people actually on the ground, including Neha Bora and NSUI protesters, barely get the attention they deserve.
And the story is pushed to page four.
This is exactly why I still have my doubts about @IndianExpress .
I targeted my post at the graphic posted by @TajinderBagga.
So, @AshwiniVaishnaw, if you have actually issued a blocking order against my post, then first tell us: Did you issue a blocking order for the person who started this in the first place?
If you did, then post that blocking order right here on X.
As someone who comes from the Indian Administrative Service, you should have the wisdom to understand that if something is wrong, it is wrong for everyone, not just for the Opposition.

🚨BIG BREAKING : Indian Express Brutally Expose Haryana BJP Government🔥
The CBI alleges that Rs 504 crore of public money from eight Haryana government departments was diverted into chosen branches of two private banks.
Six IAS officers are named among 19 accused in the chargesheet.
Now see what the CBI says these officers were given in return : gold coins delivered to one officer's house, hotel bills paid by a banker, liquor, luxury stays and "mujra" parties paid in cash.
These are the CBI's allegations, and the courts must decide. But look at whose money it is.
The Tribune reports that the funds include money of the Development and Panchayats department under the Mukhya Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0, the rural housing scheme.
One of the accused officers was Additional Principal Secretary to Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini.
Other departments include the one for school education.
Bro, imagine you are a labourer's wife in a village.
Your house roof leaks.
You have been waiting months for the next instalment of the housing scheme.
The money that was meant for your bricks is allegedly sitting in a private bank branch, while someone is enjoying gold coins and a dance party.
Modi ji, you said "Na khaunga, na khane dunga."
In a BJP-ruled state, with a BJP CM's own office in the chargesheet, who is eating?
Haryana BJP government, answer the people.
Name every officer, freeze every account, and return every rupee. 🔥🔥🔥
Nyvaan just nailed it. 🔥
The BJP-friendly anchor was literally pleading to move away from Gyanesh Kumar.
Nyvaan saw the trap, flipped it back, and refused the bait.
Check the anchor’s face at 1:35. 😭
If Gyanesh Kumar doesn’t resign, cockroaches from across India will march to Delhi & protest at Jantar Mantar on October 10.
If Delhi Police tries to stop us, wherever they stop us will become our Jantar Mantar..
Ours will be a peaceful andolan. We will walk on the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi. It is up to the Govt & the Delhi Police whether they respect our right to peaceful protest or repeat the brutality we witnessed on July 20.
This is a fight to save our democracy. Every citizen who wants free & fair elections must join.
Sachin Sharma has still not been held accountable for the police brutality he unleashed upon young people on 20 July.
This is why he’s threatening to unleash that same brutality again in Delhi. At this point, he might as well put on a BJP gamcha. Vardi ka apman kar raha hai.
The Bombay High Court has put the Election Commission on the spot:
“Show us from the Act what empowers you to delete a voter’s name without giving them a hearing.”
The court also stressed that the ECI’s fundamental objective is to ensure that as many eligible citizens as possible can vote - not to let software or administrative processes push voters off the rolls.
It is not only unprecedented but totally improper for SC judges to meet a parliamentary or executive committee on a matter which the SC may be called upon to decide
