Rumours That Omarana May Step Down for Haske Stir Adamawa Politics

Fresh political rumours are making the rounds in Adamawa, with reports claiming that Ambassador Omar Suleiman (Omarana) may step down from the 2027 governorship race in support of Alhaji Abdulrahman Haske.

According to political sources, talks between both camps are said to be at an advanced stage. There are also reports that Omarana could make a public announcement on his political future in the coming days.

If the reports turn out to be true, many political observers believe the development could reshape the 2027 governorship race, with some also speculating that the Mubi zone could produce the deputy governorship candidate as part of the alleged arrangement.

However, there has been no official confirmation from Omarana, Abdulrahman Haske, or the ADC regarding the reports.
