Barnet Labour Council used agency employees to scab the UNISON Mental Health Care Workers’ Strike of 80 days and apply the Minimum Services Level Act! It is a betrayal of Barnet TUC and all other Trade Unions who helped Labour defeat the previous Tory council under Brian Coleman!

Fran Heathcote, our PCS Union General Secretary, was a guest speakers at the International Brigades Memorial Trust (IBMT) commemoration in Jubilee Gardens, London. The MoJ Associated Offices Branch ensured affiliation for this Trade Union to be affiliated to the IBMT, last year.

This branch has the largest Muslim membership in the Ministry of Justice. We carried a motion for PCS to support Islamophobia Awareness Month in November within MoJ. We have moved motions and spoken at events to support Trade Unions in many Muslim countries in the Middle East!

At the PCS Conference of 2022, we moved and carried the motion for PCS to affiliate to the Ukraine Solidarity Campaign! We support the Ukrainian Trade Unions against the military invasion by Putin and for national self determination against Russian or US economic domination!

In 2015, PCS MoJ Associated Offices was the first branch to promote Neurodiversity Awareness within the PCS Union as one of its delegates and serving MoJ GEC member of the time, Austin Harney, came out in the open and was to be the first Autistic member of the NEC in 2017!
