Here’s the matchup that caught my attention most:

Love through 2 games:

532 passing yards
4 TD
1 INT

Atlanta defense:

508 passing yards allowed
4 passing TD allowed
0 INT

And now Atlanta’s CB1 A.J. Terrell is on IR.

BUT…

Love has already been sacked 7 times.

And Green Bay is missing two starting offensive linemen tonight.

That makes this one fascinating.

When Love has time, the matchup favors Green Bay’s passing game.

The question is whether Atlanta can make sure he DOESN’T have it. 👀

If we pick first we better trade back to help with this rebuild process, trading back is best case scenario not for next year but for our future.

We can’t win with a high draft pick QB if we don’t build the trenches right, especially on DL, where we’ve only generated 7% of pressure thru 2 weeks……

Best case, snag Simmons or Stewart and then go draft a QB late in first round or in second round.

🚨 Thursday Night Football looks a LOT different than it did a week ago.

Michael Penix Jr. is officially back for Atlanta.

And he’s walking into an offense that through 2 games has:

• 16 total points
• 524 total yards
• 5 INTs
• -6 turnover differential
• 1 offensive TD

Meanwhile Green Bay will be WITHOUT:

• WR Jayden Reed
• G Aaron Banks
• OT Zach Bako-Bewele

And Atlanta just placed CB A.J. Terrell on IR.

So we’ve got:

Atlanta changing QBs.

Green Bay reshuffling its receiving corps AND offensive line.

Atlanta losing its CB1.

There are a lot more moving pieces in this game than the records suggest. 👀

TNF should tell us a lot about both teams.

Week 1 was quiet:

26 yards

But he still saw 6 targets.

Now add the context:

Puka Nacua — questionable
Jordan Whittington — doubtful
Giants CB Deonte Banks — questionable
Paulson Adebo — IR

If Puka is limited or unavailable, somebody has to absorb that volume.

Adams already had 6 opportunities in a game where the Rams offense produced only 290 total yards.

This is one situation I’ll be watching right up until kickoff. 👀

Okay… are we finally seeing THE Bryce Young jump? 👀

Through 2 games:

648 passing yards

113.3 passer rating

Yesterday at Atlanta:

23/36
287 yards
3 TD
0 INT

And Carolina went from giving up 59 points in Week 1…

to allowing THREE yesterday.

It’s only two games. I’m not crowning anybody.

But Bryce looks more comfortable, more aggressive and way more confident pushing the ball downfield.

This is officially something I’m watching. 📈
